Everyone is pretty much on board with gyro aiming in the Splatoon community. I think it's mostly non-Nintendo gamers that are against it.

some people complained about it and calling it an aimbot lol.

the great thing about s3 is that the cast is a lot more diverse than the others, and you actually used most of them due the story split into multiple stories.

my complain on S3 is the battle system.
pairings are meh, essentially making it feel like 3 unit parties instead of 6.
the ATB(?) instead classic turn based is an interesting approach, but because of it fusion spells are not available in the game.
