It's not even that I think it's not a real thing that more attractive people get jobs in front of a camera more often. That's obvious why that would be the case. It's more so that insecure men only notice it when it involves women. Then when the woman is not "hot", they immediately go to feminism being the reason. It's not hard to see through the type and it's mad pathetic. Your insecurities would lead to no women getting jobs because you'll always find a reason they got the job other than just being qualified. Which, looking good is part of qualifications for a lot of jobs in front of cameras. "PART" of qualifications. You need to self evaluate and discover why you can't accept a pretty woman or woman in general as also being qualified for the other aspects of the job. Morgan and Olivia were good in front of a camera charismatically. They weren't just something to look at. You'd only have a case if they were uncharismatic and sucked at the job outside of being pretty. If you weren't so jaded, you'd factor those things in and their position would make sense all around.

Im sorry you feel this way. I hope you find a second wind and everything old becomes new. I can promise you that you've only tricked yourself into believing that the more depressing something is, the more real it is. Because,it wouldn't be depression if you could easily just think your way out of it. Part of it is convincing yourself it's all that's real. Giving into that and trying to drag others will only put you more around others who also don't want to help you escape that mindstate tho. As a 30-something, I find it exhausting to be around myself. The way positive people get away from their own depression is cutting people who try to drag them down out their lives. Don't be someone others have to cut off so they can be happy

Tbf, normal gamers don't all want to just play stuff they're immediately comfortable with. Gaming is big enough now that even normal gamers can be looking for a challenge. Doom series does good. Hollow Knight was a hit. These games are no longer niche. Of course everyone isn't gonna like them, cause there's nothing that everyone likes. But you should be seeing with your own eyes how much From Soft has broken out the niche category. It happened in real time over the last 10 years in front of all of us.

So that is 2 examples already.

You don't have to gatekeep tho. You can just respect what the creators want. If the creators decide an easy mode won't ruin the feeling they're trying to achieve with gamers, then I'll support that too. But so far, it seems like they don't want people to play the game in a way they never intended it to be played. It's wild to come at some the only people who aren't just taking the easy money try to please everyone route. When you got so many companies completely shitting all over their fans by barely putting in any work into the main games while spending more manpowet trying to create ways to penny pinch the one's that supported them from the beginning.
