When I was 2, I was watching my baby brother (2 years younger than me) when my finger got caught in a door and chopped off. Luckily the neighbors were home and brought me to the hospital where it was re-attached.

We started moving every 3 months after that.

When I was around 4 or 5 I was watching my brother in Vermont and we sleighed down a hill right into a car that was parked at the bottom. Luckily we were brought to the hospital and survived.

Not much longer after that I was watching my brother and created a game that involved jumping over a chair. He fell and bashed his head into the TV.

There were other incedents as well, including me getting run over by a car in Arizona (And then backed up over my legs to see what he hit).

There are reasons why you probably shouldn't have kids under the age of 10 babysit lol....Somehow though both me and my brother actually survived all that. He did eventually die at 40, but it wasn't my fault (somehow!!).

And, yeah, I read the reports that said Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion were tired of each other.

I guess Nathan won the next tv show wars as The Rookie is still going and Absentia was canceled. From what I read supposedly Nathan was the bad guy, but I still have a hard time believing that since the other co-stars he worked with had nothing but good things to say about him.

Whatever happened it was sad as it was a good show and I liked both of the actors. I am more of a fanboy of Nathan just because of Firefly, Dr. Horrible etc, but I can't get behind actually being horrible to a co-star if that really happened. Sometimes this stuff is just so hard to find the truth about.

Still have season 2 of witcher on a back burner so not sure if I wanna finish that first or not.
I'm also watching Bobba fett (aka mandalorian season 3) and Yellowstone.

Castle was a great show up until the point where he gets kidnapped heading to his wedding.

From what I remember the co-stars hated each other and could barely stand being in the same room together. They were going to ditch the chick and get a replacement but ended up just scrapping the show. Never heard anyone else say they hated working with Nathan so it must just have been a personality conflict or something.

Me and my wife loved the show though, but yeah it really fell off towards the end.

HEB sells fresh OJ and it's fucking amazing

Trader Joes does as well and it's mega cheap ($5 for a half gallon!!!). But I told alot of people in my area about it because i'm stupid (and like to share good things with people, but mostly stupid) and now they are out of it all the time.

Why wasn't I born more greedy *sigh*

Problem is similar to what we are seeing right now, if you give most people alot of money, it'll boost inflation and make that money worth less (because everything will cost more). In theory UBI could work, but you would have to be really careful how it was implemented, and it would need to be balanced out with less and less actual jobs, you couldn't just willy nilly implement it while you still had millions of jobs that needed to be filled.

Currently we have a freakton of jobs that are not being filled. Admittingly alot of them suck (lol) but the solution for that is to make the pay for those jobs higher, not just have a UBI that makes people even less likely to do them. Once those jobs are filled or done by machines, that is a different story, but that is also a different decade cause we are not gonna be there before 2030 at this rate.

So something like a government suppliment for workers making less then x amount paid by through taxes from workers making over x amount (and the rich who sell homes, corporations that are currently dodging taxes etc), would make way more sense.

Before a UBI, make it so people can live on working a 24 hour work week at even basic/min wage jobs, by supplimenting them up to a base cost of living (in their area).

Before you say 50% of the nation doesn't need to work, how about making it so 90% of the nation doesn't need to work 40 hours a week. More time to enjoy your life, less stress, people will live longer. Families will have more time together, and people will still have motivation to work, get better jobs, learn skills etc.

A flat out UBI could be really bad and there are many ways to test things out first, and benefit everyone that doesn't take such a drastic step.

I just wanna know why it's so hard to find freshly squeezed OJ almost anywhere.

The pasturized stuff sucks, it's not good for you and it's full of sugar.

Freshly squeezed OJ is healthy and super delicious and takes a few minutes to make with a machine.

Super easy to just have oranges ready to go and serve the fresh stuff but it's extremely rare to find served anywhere.

Do people hate healthy things or something?

tbh, sooner or later the NYT ruins everything.

Do you always start with the first word (if so please don't tell me it). I change every day but generally always go with 2 vowels and some combination of R/T/S and B/L/M/P pretty much.

Sometimes I get lucky that way, but it still gives me enough to go on usually to make a good guess on the second shot. I have not been unlucky enough yet to not have any matches so far on my first guess i don't think.
