Really depends on the context of why they're making the change if I care or not. Something like "we had no plan to change the character's race, but the audition was just so good" is a lot better than purposely deciding to change the race for the sake of making some big, performative statement. My biggest pet peeve is only complaining about it one way. It's either fine, or it's not fine.

Yes, under the specific context of a country being ravaged by a bunch of civilian slaughtering savages, I'm fine with temporary misinformation meant for the purpose of helping them. It's like you don't understand this is a very specific context.

I find if hard to imagine why anyone would bitch about a country under attack utilizing misinformation to give hope to its people and confuse/demoralize their enemies. If Russia is using misinformation, they are an aggressor manipulating people to cause fear to an already terrorized population, so everyone would shit on them as normal.

Autism is such a large spectrum that it's impossible to say whether it has any impact on the situation or not without surrounding context. If he was just being a bit awkward and was unnecessarily harassed, that's one thing. If he was being inappropriate enough to get kicked out, then it wouldn't really matter. Autism isn't an excuse for behavior that can have you removed from a location. His caretaker would be the one at fault if he's on that side of the spectrum.

Did he actually not do anything, or did they conveniently forget to add in some context where he did something worthy of being kicked out of the store? It seems like it's 50/50 whether it's a shitty cop or a shitty perpetrator in these videos where we only see the apprehension.

I hate when they edit stuff for TV and they try to get voicealikes to say a different word. Like if they censor ass and you hear a vaguely similar voice say BUTT instead and it's really loud and out of place.

As long as it's a TV-edit, it doesn't matter at all. If they were trying to edit all future releases of the film, that'd be moronic. Even if it's something truly, grossly offensive, removing it in an environment unaffected by age ratings is just feelgood nonsense. At most, include a warning beforehand.

Yes, small, "harmless" dates and physical contact are cheating unless openly discussed. Just because nobody is getting off doesn't make it fine to do.

Google seems to show as of 2021 they were still queuing them up as normal, but were having some issues getting some recent ones approved at the time.

Alimony is spousal support for the purpose of supporting a spouse who cannot be expected to be able to instantly provide for themselves. Child support is support directly for the child (or at least is supposed to be). They're two different things. Alimony is shat on because it's fairly outdated and unnecessary at this point with the exception of very specific circumstances. Child support fuckery is its own thing, and many do get a really shitty deal on it.

Yeah, that whole setup is annoying. The dumb thing is they could easily add an option to view them as normal videos by default, but who wants to give user-friendly options in 2022. You shouldn't have to add them to a list or copy and past the video code just to get a normal video.

The systems in place to hold people accountable are pretty fucked, which can allow corruption to breed. I see this as more of a local governance thing than just a police thing though. You can't really have mass police corruption without local officials also being corrupt and overlooking it. As with everything, it's a case by case thing. Different states, different counties, different towns will all breed different cops.

Their definition of normal slowly becomes warped for some reason. They're craving some kind of purpose, so they're offered what they think is a secret only a select few know. They're at rock bottom and they think they're offered a salvation they cannot find anywhere else. They're pompous and they think their wealth has let them into a super secret club that has the real truth.

I feel like just spraying water isn't going to be that much better in terms of hygiene. Washing your hands with just water can get the major residue off all the same, but it's not like it'd be anywhere good enough if your hands were covered in shit. Then there's the question of if you can really trust them not to house bacteria, and, even if they have cleaning functions, trust the people using them to actually be maintaining them. The benefit would probably mostly be for people with ass issues, assuming bacteria accumulation isn't a major issue.

I guess it depends on the legal distinction between levels of harm. Obviously, slapping or pushing someone around renders less harm than punching in most cases. For a basic assault charge, that would presumably be equal. So from there, do charges depend on if someone is bleeding, has bruises, broken bones, etc, or is all assault equal until major hospitalization?

I'd say it's quite important to have it. With the exclusion of inciting violence, there should be absolutely no legal ramifications for spoken words in public, no matter how vile. How private entities deal with that is their own thing, but trying to police hatefulness is a slippery slope no matter how you try to do it.

Seems doubtful. Chat AI has come very far, but it's still mostly nonsense. It could have output that string of words, but it'd also be accompanied by hundreds of lines of nonsense. I also have a hard time imagining it being able to correlate harm in such a manner without specific information already being input into it.
