Is it a fantasy genre writers thing? People say lord of the rings is the same way, maybe that's just the deal with fantasy writers, they have to spend hundreds of pages describing every blade of grass. Or if they're in a castle, every tapestry and armor and symbol.

The last seasons which were very much bad because D&D didn't want to keep doing the show, so they definitely deserve some of the blame. Especially because the main issue with the ending wasn't really what happened at the end, but rather how it ended. If you told someone at like season 4 how the series ended, they'd probably be like "yeah I can see that", but Seasons 7/8 didn't really do a lot of the work that was required to get to that ending point.

But there's also not a chance anyone would have really been able to wrap up some of these things well, and the books have even more random loose ends and **** that would need to be tied up.

I'm of the opinion there just wasn't a good way to wrap up the Night King and Coming Winter stuff.

I started to notice even before season 6, but it was season 6 that really confirmed and made it super obvious that they just wanted the show to be done. The whole making arya a master assassin instantly and bran automatically becoming the new all seeing 3 eyed raven just like that are just some examples of them just doing spark notes TV and blazing through it.

You know what's funny is that the night man hasn't even been introduced in the books yet. We got appearances for the blue eyed snow zombies, but no nightman cometh yet.

Does anyone actually blame D&D? Hell I dont understand expecting anything from grrm either. Have you read the books? From the moment he had that shitty catspaw reveal I knew that this dude couldn't wrap storyline. Oh he could certainly set them up, but then again anyone can set up intriguing plots and mysteries, just look at jj Abrams and lost. It's about delivering on those mysteries and he sure as shit didn't with what he did attempt to resolve, so forget him ending the actual main plot lines.

It always bothers me when they sit with their legs out over a steep cliff, or a vehicle moving at high speeds. Like, you're one stiff breeze or shaky turn from getting fucked up.

I always back up whenever I do the "slightly peer over the cliff" thing I just feel like I'm losing my balance immediately and try to stay as far away from the drop as possible. Don't know if it's just me or instinct

• Like having a character driving and then they immediately swerve without signaling or they straight up do a u turn without even using their blinkers
• Characters about to have sex especially a one night stand and they don't even use a condom smh
• Characters slicing stuff and talking to another person without looking at what they're cutting

Really bothers me. Along with other stuff.

Rami Maleck was a really great casting choice after Sacha Baron Cohen's departure from the film. I wish the biopic didn't stop at the Live Aid concert, though. It's an odd choice for a biopic, but I guess it does let it end on a inspirational note.

Was live aid before or after we are the world?

Also I like the casting of rami but I can totally see Sacha baron Cohen as Freddie mercury too! Wonder if he's done serious acting though

Tell me about it. I regretted watching ts 3 it nearly tarnished the memory of the originals with its whole "oh look how sad and old and depressing everything is now"

The fakeout villain twist was a retread and you see it coming a mile away. The whole "will woody/toys ever find a place after Andy doesn't need him" was literally already done in 2. And the buzz jokes weren't particularly funny. 2's hilarious meta commentary joke about the buzz toys supplies not meeting demand is hard to top admittedly, always cracks me up.

But most of the time you don't want a gourmet meal, you want pizza or hamburgers or something, and Toy Story 1 is that. So quotable, so easy to watch a million times.

1 is absolutely gourmet, its one of the greatest movies of all time for good reason. Its just that toy story 2 was literally the first cg animated sequel that wasnt a cash grab and actually expanded on the first movie by fleshing out characters further and their relationships with each other. In contrast with Disney's other direct-to-video sequels that were of varying qualities.

Everything about this movie was amazing, one of my favorite of all time.

Toy story 3 literally copied toy story 2's formula and even story arc... have no idea why its praised so much. 2 is the best series stopping point quite frankly.
