Tbh Touhou music is good in a bubble, but i hate how it infested arcade music games. It doesnt exactly fit, and it took over some good games.

It is good if you go in with an open mind and accept the fact that it isnt Trigger.

And the fate of the Trigger characters makes sense and instead of making me hate the game, it made me actually want to finish it to see what would happen.

The story is great, but it can be very obtuse and open to interpretation at times.

This is actually pretty cool for psp games. But i think most of the good ones got pc or switch ports.

I think it was fine. The Disney Worlds finally felt detailed and not like corridors or arenas like in KH2 and BBS and DDD. The stories felt like sequels to the movies, which was better than the movie but with Sora in it, and the combat was just as interesting if you played it on Critical.

I stopped watching when Princess showed up.

is anything worth it after the Whisperer arc? Even that made my eyes roll, but it made sense seeing a neutral enemy after Negan.

Its shonen anime. Dont go in expecting much.

It has nice art which lets it get away with more crap than say, Bleach or One Piece.

It is insanely popular here in Japan. When it came out in 2020, nearly everything was themed after it. Kids were wearing the character kimono masks, the theme song would play nonstop in stores. It is still popular today, but there are more annual Shonen animes that are getting popular too.

It is not bad. It looks nicer than most shonen anime, and it is a bit more violent than most stuff meant for kids (seriously, the show has clear beheadings of monsters, and 3 year olds watch it mostly because they think Nezuko is a cute princess).

Japan is a very backwards country. They have cool gadgets and nice public services. Thats it.

I never remember this being popular as a kid. It used to come on like, Saturday afternoons where I lived (probably preempted by baseball), and it seemed cheap and weird. I was definitely at an age where i could say yeah this feels like cheap power rangers

Im an ESL teacher, and Im gonna say no. They often miss out on cultural nuance, or the feeling of words. Academic English is one thing, but understanding the power and feeling of your words is another.

On the other hand, I think they understand grammar better, but really, that only becomes useful in tests or formal documents.

So i would say they understand grammar on a better level than the average American, but they lack the cultural nuance that brings real power to their sentences.

Doesnt mean they are bad at all though. Sometimes I think broken English actually portrays deeper thought, because they often use their own cultures nuance mixed into English grammar.

This was rushed, but I have much deeper opinions on this.

Im a teacher. You guys have no idea how strong a kid can be when disturbed, especially if they have a disability and dont know how to hold back.

The whole point of the book is that the main character is an overly negative kid with clear mental problems, and for the most part, you arent supposed to relate to him, but perhaps pity him, or even hate him.

Why do people hate Catcher in the Rye so much? People take it way too seriously.
