A user on Reddit named sadfutago recently posted footage of him accessing an area no one had seen before in the game, and gradually drip fed more and more of it, including Replicant and Drakengard references. This thread has a good summary of what's happened so far.

Speculation ranges from a very well done mod/hoax since everything is ripped from other games (though the modding community for Automata says this would be very impressive for just one guy) or some kind of marketing/ARG for the upcoming Switch release or a new game.

Now he's dropped a twitch link, saying that something is supposed to happen in three hours, and changed his reddit profile to read "Not official, not an ARG" which at this point doesn't mean much. I guess we'll see soon!

Yeah I'm definitely leaning marketing/ARG for this one.

Might also just be a really well done and well timed mod/hoax but I dunno, it feels like marketing through a Yoko Taro lens.

Be prepared for more of the same overall, but 4/5 have multiple playable characters (and best boy Akiyama) to mix things up.

6 is pretty good, but if you didn't like the Dragon Engine in K2 you'll hate it in 6 since it was their first game on it. Personally I loved it in K2.

Nearly everything substantial published so far has been proven fake. There's a known insider giving cryptic answers to questions but nothing really interesting unless you need a drip feed of new info. Basically no screenshots, videos, or concept arts have been leaked. We don't even know how the gyms will work.

DMC 3/4/5 kind of hit this especially on lower difficulties, or just when playing well in general. DMC5 in particular really hit a sweet power trip spot for me with the dynamic battle tracks tied to the style system, the better you're doing the harder the music hits and it's great at adding to the feeling of wrecking dudes that have no chance against you.
