My boss told me this morning that his father hit his head a few days ago and had a scan showing be had bleeding in his brain, and then another scan last night revealed it was getting worse and that they need to do emergency surgery today. The guy has had a lot of health issues lately so brain surgery is the last thing he needs :/ But when my boss told me all that I responded saying "Oh I'm really sorry to hear that... Hopefully he pulls through!" and then he broke down crying :(

I feel really bad. Was there something better I could've said to help ease his mind a little?

One criticism that you really need to admit is that those services create a ton of waste you wouldn't normally have cooking with your own stuff... Especially the cool packs. I know supposedly you can send them back, but from what I read no one actually does it...

You can cook entire whole meals for like $7 and get like four servings out of them. Blue Apron meanwhile advertises itself saying ONLY $11 PER SERVING like it's a bargain, and you end up with absolutely nothing leftover to eat for lunch. This, most phones only have digital zoom and digital zoom is essentially identical to just loading the picture, cropping and then resizing, I thought. Seems like a silly thing to complain about.

Well my OP and original complaint was about cameras which have optical zoom. I wasn't the one who brought up phones, I just responded to whoever did. So yes, it's a valid complaint to make.

Photography is not common sense.

I think most people should be able to realize that when the subject of a picture is so tiny you can barely make their faces out, you might want to move forward or zoom in. That's not rocket science...

It's really disappointing to ask someone to use your camera to take a photo of you and/or some other people, stage the pic, have them take it, and they say "Looks great!", only for you to go check later and the photo is completely zoomed out from like 15 feet away...

I feel like most cameras are pretty intuitive to locate the zoom function... Yet EVERY time I ask someone to take a photo with my camera, this always happens >_> Did everyone just all forget how to do it when there's no touch screen to pinch?

They're actually not. Waffles are whipped, introducing air into the batter, sort of like whipped cream, which gives they a lighter, airier texture than pancakes when you make them correctly. I feel bad for you if you've never had real waffles before.
