You're trying to use it, right? Is it getting hot? The poof sound is the pilot getting bigger and heating the oven from the bottom

Oh yeah it's getting up to temp just fine. The poof continues after it's reached its target heat (425° in my case) So the poof is basically it keeping the fire going so it stays at that temp right?

Oh and every 15 seconds or so it makes a little click sound or a sort of "poof" sound, though I noticed this at a different person's house when they were using their gas stove so I'm assuming it's ok?

Ok, so, I'm sure I'm overthinking this but I'm dog sitting for someone and they have an auto igniting gas stove. I've honestly never used one, but I'm just supposed to use it like a regular old stove right? Just set the temp or turn the stove top to high and it'll light up and I'll be fine right? I always notice a light gas smell but I've heard that's because I particularly am sensitive to smells like that.

I'm not gonna blow myself up am I?

That and if I make a topic asking a question or something it seems to get ignored.

Depends on the type of thread.

It'll be like a "What are your thoughts on this game?" type of thread. I'll get like no replies and then someone else will post the same question and get a 40 post thread out of it

I've felt like this for a long time. I'll see some topic with a lot of discussion happening, I'll post in it, then it dies. It's happened like 5-6 times to me in the last week.

I'm overall a pretty positive/neutral poster. I only get negative when people are praising a game to death while being blind to flaws. But even then I don't flame, and I rarely get like that at all.

That and if I make a topic asking a question or something it seems to get ignored. Anyone else feel like this? Like, I wonder if the way I type my sentences annoying or something? Or do I drag on? Or is being confrontational/making bait threads the only way to get a discussion started on the internet?

It is. You can see that in the different versions of BotW, where the Switch version runs at a higher resolution while docked, as well as having more ambient sound effects and minor aesthetic details. It's not a huge jump, courtesy of the limitations imposed by keeping the system portable, but it's there.

Not to mention its framerate (specifically in towns where Wii U suffers) is far more stable while still maintaining that 900p resolution

So I clean carpets. A customer I cleaned for today has cancer and just had chemo done, though she didn't mention it really, a different family member did very briefly, but she (the one with cancer) knew I knew about it. Anyway, I didn't really say anything about it. She was in good spirits and had a lot of people supporting her, but I wasn't sure if I should let her know her and her family are in my thoughts and best wishes, or just not bring it up so as not to draw attention to it.

In the end, I didn't say anything. I had a nice conversation with her about the weather and her grandkids and then mentioned to her to have her carpets cleaned in the next year or two so it doesn't fall too far behind with dirt. Was that ok? I'm so bad in those types of situations

is the screen complete garbage, like all other nintendo handhelds, and scratches super-easily?

oh, and does the dock also scratch up the screen? i think i remembered hearing something about that...

Not everyone has it but some docks do scratch. Get the AMsFilm glass screen protector. It's cheap and makes the touch screen really nice to use

Well, I think it's more that my friends will want to go at some point and I love going to movies so I can't resist. So I end up paying like $17 total in the end. Going with people is better than without imo

I've been hearing some great stuff. It's still at like a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes after almost 190 reviews which is unheard of for any recent Marvel movie. From what I've heard the villain is actually compelling and the movie itself is its own thing. It's not trying to set up any future MCU movies

Disclaimer: This isn't a woe is me topic but I say a depressing thing or two or three. Nothing other people haven't experienced though.

I've kinda gone downhill the last couple years. I've always been a bit lonely, but things really got bad when this woman I loved died a couple of years ago. Thinfs haven't been the same since. It's a long story and I won't get into it, but since then I've just kinda become stagnant in life, afraid to move forward. I'm 27 and work 4 days a week. I don't make a ton of money but it's enough. When I'm at work though I can't wait to get home and just put my headsets on and watch YouTube for hours until it's time for bed.

Added to that is that my small but solid group of friends stay in touch through games like Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm but don't hardly hang out in person anymore. They're all married so movies and vacations and eating out are done with their wives and families.

I've sort of just lost motivation to move forward. I'm at like 245 pounds now and need to get healthy. I'd also like to focus on helping people more. This will be a big step forward for me. But as soon as the day's work is done any thoughts I had to improve myself as a person go out the window and I'm back at home staring at a screen. What do you guys do to get motivated? Thank you
