if you've already played KH1, KH2, BBS, or all of the above, it's the most barebones shit of all time.

seriously just watch the movie.

its the best story because it doesnt fill it all up with nonsense Disney worlds that don't affect the overarching plot. its about Roxas, Axel, and Xion, and it's a pure character story. A fucking sad one, at that.

The story in 358/2 Days is up there with MGS3, Crisis Core, Silent Hill 2, FFX and TWD Season 1 (TellTale) for saddest games ever.

It's possible Days just fits my personal playstyle better, cause I honestly hate KH2's gameplay. I never understood why so many people prefer 2 over the other games.

I love the customization in Days, which is a big factor for me. Also, while the missions could get repetitive, there was still a decent variation in mission types. I loved the Recon missions personally.

Yup.

You can either play the DS game or just watch the movie. Either way, the main plot is there, but the movie doesn't take 40+ hours of clicking through textboxes and hand cramps from the DS's D-pad.

it's gameplay is likely the WORST of all of them though (maybe better than coded? I never played coded).

Xion is best character.

Literally the only flaw is that some of the missions can get a little repetitive, but there's usually enough new stuff mixed in to keep it interesting, or new parts of the worlds open up.

Like, watch the movie if you have no other choice, but you should definitely try to play the game if you can, or at least give it a shot.

I loved how magic based it was personally, but I always did a max magic build in 1 and a big part of why I didn't like 2 is due to how they fucked with the magic system.

You should absolutely actually play Days if you have the ability to.

On the Final Mixes on the consoles it's just the cinematics, but if you have a DS or 3DS and can get ahold of a copy of Days, I highly recommend actually playing it.

It's my second favorite in the series, after the original.

Looks to me like the first 2 topics were likely locked due to the "shopping with poor people" comment. The reason certain topics get locked sometimes instead of deleted is if the mod thinks that the topic will devolve into a mess of trolling, offensive comments, or other TOS violations, so while the initial post may not have quite been enough to warrant being deleted and put on your record, the mod probably wanted to get ahead of the curve and prevent probable future violations.
