I feel like Chucky made a deal with the devil to be immortal. If he can survive the end of 2, he can survive anything.

The markets hot right now for buying in my area. Which makes sense because rent is almost on par with a mortgage payment here

But how do you get to that point to begin with? Between my rent, car payment, car insurance, electric bills, etc I pretty much break even every month. How to I save for a down payment? I'm seriously considering living on my car for a few months when my apartment lease ends next year just so I can save.

Down payment is easy. You just pocket money every paycheck. Might take awhile, but that depends on how you budget

You can also sell things to make money or pull your 401k for down payment.

Sure, I could save a few bucks from my check and finally have enough in 15 years, but I want it soon. I'm in my mid 30's. I'm not getting any younger. And like I posted earlier, every time I managed to somehow get an extra $600 or something, something would go wrong with my car. And recently my apartment complex started requiring renter's insurance, so now I have to pay that.

I do have a deferred comp account from my job. How easy is it to borrow from it?

there are lots of strategies for saving money. a good one is to save $1 the first week, then $2 the second, $3 the third, until you hit a maximum you can afford.

how frugally do you live? if you don't cook all of your own meals, for example, you have room to lower your expenses.

I don't have money TO splurge out there. Everyone in society keeps saying "buy a house and stop paying rent", but you need money to do so. And every single time fortune smiles on me and I get a few extra bucks, my car needs fixing or I need new uniforms for work or etc.

I am seriously very close to just not renewing my lease next summer and just sleep in my car/highway rest stop/etc. That would save me like $1,200 per month in money

The bad:
-horrible acting
-a rape plot that has nothing to do with the mist, and the girl might have lied anyway
-most of the episode has nothing to do with the mist
-the mist may not be just filled with monsters. It kind of looks like it causes craziness too
-feels like they are trying to be walking dead

The good
-even though she is a walking cliche, I kind of like the angry anything goes woman
-the arrowhead project was mentioned, so it is at least somewhat related to the book/movie
-there is clearly something special about the main girl, as the next episode preview states she is the only one to walk into the mist and return. Who knows.
-it left me wanting to know just what the hell the mist is exactly(it's clearly different than just a habitat for grotesque creatures)
