Theon has been searching for that for the past 2 -3 seasons. That look of betrayal on Yara's face when Theon jumps overboard is heartbreaking. She's already risked her life trying to save him, and has spent the past year+ trying to build him back up again. The absolute worst thing he could have done was jump off the boat. I'd like to think he could still redeem himself, but I highly doubt it. I was hoping this back in season 5 when he could have saved Sansa, but again he failed and betrayed her. They even had to justify it after the episode, in the interviews, by saying "when we wrote it, we started thinking that you can't just 'get over' something like that, it'll always be with you". And then they go and rush other characters development like nobodies business (I'm looking at you, Arya). I'm sick of this shit. I know of some viewers who stopped watching the show 5 episodes after he got his dick cut off, because he never got the revenge he deserved. But if you do have the courage, I would recommend it. If not, I'd say go with The Shining, Salems Lot, Pet Semetary, or Misery. Or some of his short stories.
