Round 3 has initiated! We only have 70 characters left and by the end of this round we will only have 40! There are some very tough choices to make from here on out. Best of luck to your favorites!

Third Round Rules
- Users will be given two pools of seven characters every day. Users will also be given 25 absolute points.
- Absolute Points? - A user can give any amount of points, negative or positive, to anyone, just a few, or everyone within the group of 7. Decide where you want to allocate your own points throughout the group!
- In order for a vote to count, the user must use up ALL of the 25 absolute points, either in a negative (-) manner, positive (+) manner, or both.
- The 3 characters with the highest scores (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) move on to Round 4. The 2 characters with the lowest scores (6th, 7th) are eliminated.
- The two characters finishing 4th and 5th will go to the Wildcard round for Round 3.
- Rounds last 24 hours
- Tiebreakers will be decided by vote-off within the next topic.

Group 9 Contestants
Arya Stark (Game of Thrones)

Round 3 Results Day 4
Group 7 Contestants
120 Jean-Luc Picard (Star Trek) top20, top20, mid
75 Toph Beifong (Avatar: The Last Airbender) top, top20, low
65 Professor Snape (Harry Potter) top, top20, mid
------
40 Luke Skywalker (Star Wars) top, top20, 1st
5 Jafar (Aladdin) top, top, WC
------
0 Harry Potter (Harry Potter) top20, WC, WC
-25 Piccolo (Dragonball Z) low, mid, WC

Picard sets a record with a score of 120, walloping competition. Toph does very very well too after a rough last round. Luke hits the wildcards after finishing 1st last round overall. This is a tough format Star Wars, minus Han. Jafar was doing so well, but now finds another Wildcard round, barely edging out Harry Potter. Vegeta is gone, Piccolo goes too, and Goku...

Group 8 Contestants
130 Darth Vader (Star Wars) top20, 1st, top20
41 Scar (Lion King) top20, top20, mid
40 John McClane (Die Hard) mid, mid, WC
40 Indiana Jones (Indiana Jones) mid, mid, mid

------
25 Terminator (Terminator) mid, mid, WC
------
24 Wonder Woman (DC Comics) mid, low, low
-18 Goku (Dragonball Z) mid, mid, low

...Goku is out as well. That's all she wrote for every anime character. This is very early for that, as one usually makes the Top 10. Darth sets an even better record than Picard. Scar barely avoids a tiebreaker thanks to some strategic voting from Vish with an extra point. Very smart. McClane and Indiana will have a tiebreaker for Round 4/Wildcard spots. Terminator finds his second straight wildcard. Wonder Woman can't make her movie turn into a deeper performance.

Round 3 Results Day 3
Group 5 Contestants
86 Snoopy (Peanuts) top, top20, mid
85 Yoshi (Mario) top20, top20, 4th
75 Spiderman (Marvel Comics) 4th, top, top20
------
50 Harley Quinn (DC Comics) mid, mid, mid
37 Captain Hook (Peter Pan) top, mid, top20
------
25 Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist) low, mid, low
11 Daffy Duck (Looney Tunes) mid, low, top20

Yoshi and Spiderman continue taking our the trash with two great scores. Quite a few strong characters have looked weak in this short round and some have yet to be tested, but these two (and Han Solo) show its possible to stay strong. Hook and Quinn find the Wildcards. Elric was one of the last remaining anime characters in the contest, but now is done. Daffy skipped up to the Top 20 in last round's format but are booted roughly here in this one.

Group 6 Contestants
55 Batman (DC Comics) top, top20, top20
43 Aragorn (Lord of the Rings) mid, WC, WC
25 Winnie the Pooh (Winnie the Pooh) mid, mid, low
------
0 Homer Simpson (Simpsons) low, low, low
0 Woody (Toy Story) top, low, WC
------
-3 Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock Holmes) mid, mid, top20
-45 Sephiroth (FFVII) low, mid, low

Batman secures another win and Round 4 privileges. Batman, if you wanted to know, is a multi-Top 10 finisher from both contests...but c'mon, its the goddamn Batman, what do you expect? He hasn't won, though he has appeared in a final. Aragorn avoids three straight Wildcards. Woody and Homer tie in the wildcard venture. Sherlock is a lot like Daffy...did really well at of nowhere last round (Top 20) and now out.

Round 3 Results Day 2
Group 3 Contestants
72 Han Solo (Star Wars) top20, top20, 3rd
46 Edgar Figaro (Final Fantasy VI) top20, low, WC
43 Jesse Custer (Preacher) low, low, mid
------
37 Bugs Bunny (Looney Toons) mid, low, mid
15 Joker (DC Comics) 4th, mid, top20
------
0 Tigger (Winnie the Pooh) mid, top20, mid
-15 Leonardo (TMNT) mid, top20, low

Han Solo doesn't care if Stars Wars is supposed to be doing bad in this format, he's still an OG. Jesse makes it to Round 4! Joker claims the Wildcard with Bugs. Edgar Figaro has a wonderful performance all around. Leonardo goes down and takes TMNT with him.

Group 4 Contestants
74 Mulan (Mulan) mid, mid, WC
45 Mario (Mario) mid, top20, mid
41 Ralph (Wreck-It-Ralph) top, mid, low
------
15 Iron Man (Marvel Comics) mid, mid, low
9 Genie (Aladdin) top, top20, low
------
-23 Tyrion Lannister (Game of Thrones) top, low, low
-36 Santa Claus (Christmas) low, low, top20

Disney princesses are obliterating competition this round and Mulan reinforces that. Mario and Ralph sneak into Round 4. My personal favorite Disney character joins Iron Man in the Wildcards. Santa Claus will not be coming home for Christmas, he got negative voted like no tomorrow. Last contest's champion, a lot like Magneto yesterday, is now out. GoT is down to Jaime and Arya.

Tiebreaker
55 Cookie Monster (Sesame Street)
44 Chewbacca (Star Wars)
------
26 Princess Leia (Star Wars)

Leia loses in this three way tiebreaker and is sent home as the first original Star Wars character to fall.

Round 3 Results Day 1
Group 1 Contestants
63 Jamie Lannister (Game of Thrones) mid, top, mid
28 Mickey Mouse (Disney) low, mid, low
25 Tom (Tom and Jerry) low, low, WC
------
24 Scrooge McDuck (Duck Tales) top, mid, WC
11 Magneto (Marvel Comics) top, mid, WC
------
10 Dr. House (House) mid, top, top20
8 Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean) top, top20, top20

Wow. House AND Sparrow were doing great in the contest (7 top appearances between them in 3 rounds). This format, they get smacked back to out just like that. To be the Most Excellent, you have to survive several different formats. If that result is an omen, this format will shake this contest way up. Jamie Lannister runs away with this group. That is his first breakthrough performance. After being wildcards last round, Scrooge and Magneto find themselves right back as wildcards again. Tom and Mickey sneak in after having a rough past couple rounds.

Group 2 Contestants
75 Ariel (Little Mermaid) WC, low, low
53 Belle (Beauty and Beast) mid, low, low
32 Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story) top, mid, mid
------
25 Princess Leia (Star Wars) top20, mid, top20
25 Chewbacca (Star Wars) 1st, top20, top20
25 Cookie Monster (Sesame Street) top20, mid, top20

------
10 Vegeta (Dragonball Z) top20, WC, low

Ariel is now picking up dangerous steam, going from WC to low to low...and now tops her group! This format might favor Disney princesses as Belle tags along to Round 3 too after not doing well the past two rounds. Two Star Wars characters tie for the Wildcards, which is astonishing seeing as how well they have been doing. Cookie Monster will try to send one packing next topic. Vegeta finally falls, his stock has been plummeting all contest. He was a former Top 10 finisher though.
