You read this topic and you sorta become numb to how much outrage is warranted about any given Trump related thing cause there's a constant stream of commentary about random tweets and blunders that in the grand scheme of thing don't actually matter. Like we just got like 20 posts making fun of the guy for mentioning Andrew Jackson in a nonsensical context. Yeah he's an idiot-- what functioning human being could possibly care at this point.

This topic often reads like a late night talk show that forgot that poking fun at a bumbling politician loses its novelty without actual humor as the backbone.

Samantha Bee this topic series is your fault isn't it.

It's funny to me how much entertainment the usual suspects get out of posting stupid things Trump said ad nauseam. Things that aren't really any more stupid than the crap he's been saying for months. But maybe that's just me.

Not trying to claim anyone who hates on it secretly likes it or anything. It's not a good show.

Just that like, given what it tries to do, people tend to go a bit gung ho on expressing their distaste for it. It's just kinda really boring and vanilla, which is what people say, but people say it in droves when there are plenty of comedies in the same boat.

Like I couldn't imagine "it's not funny" being the most biting commentary I could give anything I'd consider in the running for the worst of all time. (this isn't directed at you specifically-- this is what I feel most people who hate on the show say more or less. Which, yeah, it's not, but I mean, I feel like if it was really that bad we'd hear more about negatives than just a glaring lack of positives)

Two and a Half Men is the Nickelback of sitcoms.

That is to say it's a totally mediocre sitcom that gets way more hate than it deserves because hating on it became pop at some point.

I'd like to be able to go back to that party at some point (save Celes as I'd rather use a different buffer) but man do Golbez and Kuja suck right now. Kefka's not great either.

What I think should've happened

- Dude who looks vaguely like Roman Reigns is tending to the Ambulance after the show
- Braun shouts I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU and rams said guy through the Ambulance Door. Doesn't miss.
- Looks down, realizes it's not Roman Reigns. Hits him with the Ambulance Door for good measure and walks off.
- Cut away to Roman Reigns who is limping into his car to drive off.

Then you have a nice subtly given reason why Roman really didn't want medical attention and he kinda saves some face because at least he "outsmarted" Braun.

I mean I'm the guy who usually defends chairs to the head, basically "you're in a physical activity so some damage occurring within reasonable levels is acceptable"

But there's a difference between taking a chair shot and feeling the effects of a chair shot from a random kick. Chair Shot is basically what you'd call "acceptable risk" for a big moment. Being safe with the very standard stuff you do every match is the most important thing to be completely safe with.

That being said it's not as if I'm calling for Sheamus to be fired immediately but he definitely needs to introspect a bit.

Well, I agree Sheamus is probably not injuring all that many people but like I said the fact that it's a risk off of standard kicks he uses in every match that's concerning. And it's not even a matter of "change your finish" cause dude didn't knock a tooth out with the Brogue Kick.

Like even one injury that's all on Sheamus and not some issue of timing or the other guy selling wrong or whatever is kinda too many. There's enough injury risks from fluke issues in match that introducing a guy that can do it just by hitting you with a standard kick is a risk you'd rather not have.

The big issue with Sheamus is that the moves he hurts people with shouldn't really have any injury risk. It's just being sloppy and reckless which is kinda worse than something like the buckle bomb because it's not easily fixed by "don't do this move"

That's more or less what Wang was saying and I think it makes sense.

You have the two being teammates that don't get along -> they get along as faces -> they get along as heels. But the subtext is that you could maybe say Sheamus was faking being a face to try and make the team work, but now Cesaro isn't faking and has just seen the light that the nice guys finish last, so they should be working at peak effectiveness right now.

I guess it's supported by a promo they cut on talking Raw as well but I didn't watch that.

Yeah Sheamus and Cesaro reaching peak power with the turn would make a lot of sense. And they probably will, actually, as I imagine they'll beat the Hardyz sooner rather than later (I really feel like they should beat them in their next title match for maximum impact of the guys really really being on the same page) at which point they can proceed to run wild over the division being two bruisers who are done playing nice.

I feel like they've been pretty good at the storytelling with the two so I could see this happening. If they go nuts with an assault after winning it's a good way to break Matt Hardy too assuming this has any chance of happening. Like you put the Hardyz on the shelf for a bit while you establish Sheamus and Cesaro as dominant, then come back broken-- I could see heel Sheamus and Cesaro being a pretty good foil for that act actually.

It could be the best tag feud in like 10 years. But I don't wanna get my hopes up.

5* Hector (-ATK +RES kinda garbage but he's just gonna get fused anyway)
5* Takumi (-ATK +DEF but other nature was good and he's just getting fused)
5* Maria
5* Julia
Azura (+ATK -SPD unfortunately)
Selena with my favored nature of +ATK -RES
Setsuna with my favored nature of +SPD -HP
Matthew with +DEF -SPD which may serve my purposes but think I want -ATK

Down to 40 orbs but worth I think

You're kinda changing it whichever way you do it-- I THINK most people interpreted it that way in m4 though due to the write-up not referencing the castle at all but I do remember some people discussing the castle and stuff once in a while.

CaptainOfCrush posted...
Why upplay humans when we have never relied on no-weapons, no-tools combat for survival in our entire evolutionary history

Humans prefer to maximize their chances of survival and minimize risk of injury and would rather not 1 for 1 random predators when they don't have to.

Just because a gun or a knife makes it easier to kill something doesn't mean it's 100% needed to do so.

I agree we're not built to win against large predators. It would be relevant if we were talking about especially large predators, too. Humans are actually bigger than most wolves. Humans don't usually have to go into these situations cause they have tools or situations are such that they're actively avoiding the combat, but a reasonably fit human in a life or death situation would have a fighting chance against a wolf using the right tactics I think.

I'm not trying to downplay the wolf as much as upplay the human and also make you realize that we don't really have enough information and you're all assuming the largest wolf with the most powerful jaws for some reason-- there are a wide variety of wolf sizes and bite powers even tossing out Coyotes.

I don't know I don't really trust Google since it seems mixed there-- and I made the google shot because I googled it and it feels like a statistic Ulti would've googled and took the highest number he saw rather than something he actually knew from veterinary school cause why would you need to know that. Also some sources are citing 400 psi too which seems a huge freakin difference from 1200 so something's gotta give. We don't know the size of the wolf or any of that.

I'll just say assuming a freakin huge wolf with verified 1200 psi I would pass on the million, but I don't trust that figure. Average size wolf though yeah I'd have to research.

Also for the record I think most unarmed criminals could take a German Shepard if they went in with the idea that they're out to fight it and not shoot it or run away and had the right strategy. Those fights rarely actually play out though since cops are just behind em and usually the criminal isn't going in with the mentality that they're having a 1v1 vs the dog.

I think it's like, the cool answer to just automatically assume the animal wins and laugh at people who would dare think they could win but I think you guys are erring a bit too cautious.
