I've only played three. Clannad, Tomoyo After, and Saya no Uta.

One of these things is (hilariously) unlike the others.

It's a bit like saying, "Oh, I went to the cinema for Finding Dory, Beauty and the Beast, and Pink Flamingos." (... IMDB that last one at your peril.)

I enjoyed Hyperdevotion Noire, though I feel like they could have done more with it. Several fun characters in there, and I always like it when somebody takes the piss out of Square Enix.

The JRPG front is quiet until next month, but next month is busy (e.g. Danganronpa V3). This month, there is the FFXII HD remaster, but that is more for other people in the family than it is for me (see also: the Crash Bandicoot remasters). Still no word on who is streaming Fate / Apocrypha in the U.S.

Those among us who really wanted to play Fate / Extella already have the PS4 version. I'm not sure why they decided to do a Switch version.

And Splatoon is for everybody. :-P Even those of us who don't have a Switch (yet) or a Wii U (ever).

Snagged that Fairy Tail bundle, and I have discovered that PDF files for manga are ... very large. Downloading them in dribs and drabs as I make room on one of my SD cards for the files. Worth it, IMO, though I will say that the cheesecake images (i.e. the Humble Bundle "exclusives") are ones that you have seen before all over the Internet.

Fun thing from the Nintendo eShop: Because RPG Maker FES is out, there is a free RPG Maker FES Player available if you just want to play stuff that other people have made. Pretty cool, if you ask me.

I have about half of these, and yes, I also recommend them for fleshing out several things in the back story. Definitely pay attention to the overall reading order, though.

News of the weird from the Steam Summer Sale: There is a game called Deep Space Waifu. This is a shoot-'em-up in which you pilot a space fighter and blast the clothes off giant anime girls floating in space. And yes, there is an adult patch. ... Most likely going to get this game. *shakes head*

@agesboy No Waver here, but my first 4* pull was Berserker Heracles, and that works out fine for me.

Fate / Grand Order installed. Charging my phone before I play for the first time.

In the meantime, I returned to the Steam Summer Sale. Shame on me. Thought about getting the fancy version of FFVI for $7.99, but ... I turned that money into fifteen or sixteen $0.49 RPG Maker titles instead. Better investment, if you ask me. I already have several versions of FFVI, anyway.

IIRC, that happened because the author of the Log Horizon novels got busted for (inadvertent?) tax evasion. The show was not doing too badly, but ... stuff happens.

I enjoyed FFIX at its release, but I feel like time has been kinder to it than it has to the two previous games. That highly stylized look ages better than the Nomura look, I guess.

Vol. 61 is happening in the U.S. on July 25, and then Vol. 62 (the finale) is happening September 26. So it looks like the answer is no, but the bundle does give you a solid three-quarters of the entire manga. Still a good deal, IMO.

EDIT -- Correction: There is a Vol. 63 due November 28, so I guess there is a little epilogue, like Mashima did for Rave Master.

Good to see you back among us, Zoro. I feel like it has been a little while since your last appearance.

All of that Fairy Tail is tempting (because I enjoy the series, tit-acular though it is), but I already have a bunch of that in paperback, and I get the feeling what little money I have left at present is going to get sucked into the upcoming Steam sale.

Been playing the PSP version of the original Persona, since my wife is doing the second run through P5. Decided to do the main story instead of attempting the Snow Queen route, this time. Good decision. The main story is not as difficult, though it gets annoying at points, since both guns and hand-to-hand weapons do single-digit damage, most of the time, and you are encouraged to rely heavily on your Personae to do any real damage to enemies. Not the most balanced of games, but I enjoy it. Feels a little like Soul Hackers, and goodness knows I love Soul Hackers (because I am weird, and so is that game).

Keep promising myself a VN binge, but ... time, time, where is the time, these days?
