Zoning/Playing keep away is now bad because fireballs are awful in this game and the aforementioned short and stubby normals. One bad fireball can mean death now since combos take like 50% of your life. With every character practically playing the same it doesn't help make things diverse and keep the game fresh. Most people have moved on to Tekken 7 since it's released. Blazblue is only big in Japan unfortunately. Edit: And don't forget how they made DP's completely useless. They took away the ability to anti air and have an invincible reversal for whatever reason. It's not like it's hard to block a DP and then punish them for 50% to death in this game anyway. The 8 frames of input lag, the insane decisions Capcom has made balance wise, the damage is too high, short and stubby normals which leads to the game having no real footsies, getting knocked down pretty much means you lost, certain characters like Balrog that can end a game in 2 combos, etc. A lot have admitted if it wasn't for the money they wouldn't be playing SFV. --- Official Aqua of the Kingdom Hearts 3 board. |

I'm assuming that was a xenoverse thing, so if that isn't canon then welp, there really is no canon reason. Toriyama is pretty much a walking meme at this point since he openly says he forgets details of z and such like he has Alzheimers, sadly dragonball will never be a series with a legitimate solid continuity because of his incompetence. They complain about how there's no single player content just as much as anyone else for the new people to get into because survival mode isn't fun, the loading times suck, the matchmaking sucks, the netcode sucks, the game isn't fun to play because damage is too high and 2 combos kill you, and the balance decisions make no sense whatsoever.
