No, I don't think I am ugly. I am nowhere near "hot" but I am certainly attractive.

Yes, but it stopped once I got to middle school. In 7th grade someone tried to bully me and I punched them right in the face and broke his nose. I was suspended for a couple days, but never got bullied and never got in a fight after that.

But I don't want to pirate the games or the emulators, even if I own them.

A lot of games that weren't 1st party are available on PC, either through Steam or GoG. And they are 100% legal, no pirating. Hell, pretty much the entire Neo Geo library is availble on Steam now.

If you are talking 1st party or exclusive games, well then suck it up buttercup.

Well I know in the states there are protections for people who come over from foreign counties and end up in abusive or unstable relationships later down the road without having anything to fall back on. Those typically deal with marriages though, not something like this.

Plus I have no idea how the court system in Germany works.

I don't think there is a magic number, my parents were married for almost 20 years when they got divorced. Granted, if kids aren't involved then that argument goes out the window, but I don't think there is any kind of magic number. People just grow apart.

It's almost like they knew that the Settings app sucks. Actually, it's probably okay, but I'd still rather use the control panel. They probably would have been better off removing the Control Panel from the start rather than leaving us with a mostly useful but slightly gimped version.

I just hate how everything in the settings app looks the same. There's no color to the icons. It looks more modern and minimalist, but the unique designs of each icon in the Control Panel helped me remember them.

Edit: Everything looking the same extends to the fairly uniform layouts and window size that the Settings app uses as well. The Control Panel had all kinds of different window layouts and other windows and programs popping up depending on what you selected. You could argue that's objectively "bad" design, but it made it easy to familiarize yourself with all the functions and if you opened something up you could tell if you had the right thing just by the window layout. The Settings app makes you actually read through all the particular settings you just opened in order to tell if you're in the right place.

The settings app represents about 90% of what the common user is going to mess with. Anything not in the settings app most people aren't going to mess with unless they are an advanced user (who would prefer the control panel anyways). It is minimalist and modern because that is what most users know nowadays. Show a person who is used to doing everything in iOS or Android the control panel and they are going to get overwhelmed by how complected it is.

The thing about being an adult is live is only as difficult as you make it. At a minimum you need to worry about money to pay for necessities, but beyond that any other responsibilities are your choice.

Don't want to take care of a pet? Don't get one.

Don't want to take care of a house? Rent.

Don't want to clean your house? Hire a maid service (with money of course).

Don't want to be responsible for another life? Don't have kids.

Just want to sit and play video games all day? Don't have friends.

Very true, something that gets lost in history. The main reason the north didn't have slavery while the south did wasn't some moral thing or humans rights issue, it was that the north simply was industrialized and it was cheaper to replace slaves with machines. The south just wasn't there yet.

Had the civil war never happened, it is very possible that slavery would have gone away within 20 years or less. Even though slavery was "free labor" it was very expensive to maintain.

What did you expect from a system board? They're always cesspools of angry fanboyism.

The Switch board gives a whole new meaning to fanboyism. Its a great system and I've pumped many hours into it already, however it is a companion console to either the PS4 or Xbox One, not a replacement for one. If you bought a Switch and are expecting full 3rd party support then you are delusional, the 2st party titles will be great and probably score well but many 3rd party studios and games are going to skip this console and Switch owners need to be ok with that fact.

this guy gets it

Technically the Switch is getting 3rd party support(Skyrim, FIFA 18, NBA 2K18, WWW 2K18, etc.), just most likely not a very strong one like the PS4 and Xbox One has been receiving.

I said it's not going to get full 3rd party support, and it's not. Battlefront 2, Destiny 2, Assassins Creed Origins, Shadow of Mordor 2 none of those holiday releases are coming to the Switch.

I think anybody expecting a Nintendo console to be a viable system for 3rd party games needs to pull their head out of their asses. Nintendo hasn't gotten a significant amount of 3rd party games for over 20 years. You buy Nintendo consoles for 1st and 2nd party games. If a 3rd party game comes out on it, great. If not, well no shit get a PC, PS4, or XBox One and accept reality.

That game wasn't hyped up at all, though. What, you regret that it wasn't as legendarily bad as expected? Also, did you pay more than the $6 it went for a couple months after release?

I payed $5 bucks for it and honestly felt it was well worth the money. I think a lot of people expected Duke Nukem 3D 2 and were disappointed that the game didn't "redefine the FPS genre". Hell, even Duke Nukem 3D was an outdated game when it came out because Quake was released a few months later. And don't even get me started on how dated the first 2 Duke Nukem games were when they released.

If you ignore the fact the game was in development for 15 or so years and treat it as a budget title (which I think releasing it at $60 initially was their biggest mistake), it is actually pretty decent.

I mean I had just come off of playing the first 3 Silent Hill games and they had so much better atmosphere and more emphasis on surviving rather then killing everything that stood in your way.

Years later I played REMake and loved it. In fact, I pretty much love most main series RE games other then 4-6. Hell, Revelations is in my eyes what 4 should have been.

On my side of the family, most of the men are named after a relative like an uncle or great-grandfather (who I was named after). Since I don't have any brothers, and I don't want to name my kid "Rollin", I would probably see if she would want to name him after someone in her family. If it was a daughter, I would love to name her "Marion" (probably would call her Mary) or Nancy after my deceased grandmothers, but again I would want my significant other to be fully on board with it.

Anybody who knows me personally knows not to invite me to weddings. Last time someone asked me what I would like for my wedding, I went on a 30 minute tirade about how weddings are self indulgent wank fests that do nothing but give florists, caterers, and planners jobs that they don't deserve.

As a result, I have been to two weddings my entire life, and hopefully they will be the only two.

Younger, but not ridiculously younger. I am 34, so for me a girl in their mid - late 20's is usually what I prefer.

Any younger then that and I almost feel like their father/guardian and that is pretty creepy.
