Amazon = Entry price is too high. You need prime and after that you spend 5 more bucks.
Netflix = Airs things after they finish.

Both of these imo are pretty unacceptable. Amazon does not have the library to justify being like double the cost of crunchyroll and a lot of people are not going to wait 3 to 6 months to watch something on netflix after everyone else has talked and moved on with it.

At this point amazon and netflix are not actually competing in the anime streaming space. They are just causing fans to be annoyed.

Also, I agree with the reasoning that anime is very much a "talk about it as it's airing" type thing. Of course I watch older shows when I can (although they are normally like classics I've yet to see). I'm often surprised how much talk dies down for a show as soon as it finishes airing.

Netflix is not really an "anime" platform. Although it is annoying that they get don't air their shows until after it's over for no reason at all (although I guess it's due to licensing reasons). Same with like Hulu and other services. Like no service is likely to compete with crunchy roll in terms of depth of their content and ultimately prices for just anime.

What is messed up is that those providers (Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc) all seem to get one or two pretty good shows, at times the best shows of the entire season (like OPM, Sindonia, Re:Creators, LWA, etc). So like for some one like me it might be worth it to subscribe to all of them (I don't but I do subscribe to more than 1). But like the cost of entry for amazon is already very high for much less then what you get from like funi and crunchyroll.

The problem is that unlike something like a game console you can kind of project what games are going to come out based on who made the system. You have shows on like HBO, showtime, etc that are ongoing for several seasons so even if you miss a season you can catch up quickly if you want to.

But with anime a lot of it lasts for a season or two. We have no indication of which service is going to get which anime. So services with like max value on season could change the next. Like most people with netflix dont have it for anime, so we can kind of discount it. But lets say like people are going to rotate crunchy roll, amazon, and i guess funi or something every 3 months... I don't really see how that is benefiting anyone and only causing people who actually want to watch shows feel even more annoyed.

Got 10 wins with the most recent arena. Players at the start were pretty bad but got the normal line of like golden mages and rogues later on. I was a rogue and had some enjoyable games. One of the most amazing things was some guy dropping deathwing and me using BGH on it.

Also, lately I've been getting a LOT of epics and even a couple of recent legendaries. I still don't play a lot (Like an arena every other day) but I have like 5K dust. woo.

Stone hill is like probably the best card from the expansion, but it can still dud sometimes so i think on average tirion is a better card.

The fourth week adds last seasons shows, which includes; My Hero Academia, Sakura Quest, and Re:Creators.

Right now MHA is the best show that's airing by fairly large margin. Granted it's had a huge head start but imo it has not had a bad episode for its entire run. It's not even like any show is actually bad again. I mean I guess having an awful episode like Youkai did could kill you though.

Like still every show from 24 up is imo at least average, and every show from 20 up is probably good and a lot of those shows near the bottom have huge potential upside. I don't expect all (or most) of them to actually get there. Bad shows typically don't get better, but there's no pure trash in this list.

Got an 8 win arena as a hunter with a deck I dont really think was good. I did however get insane rng off of primalist. Like got Call twice, a dank explosive shot, etc. Saved me several times. Also, players being bad also saved me.

Now I have a rogue deck... it's jade rogue (almost) in arena.

The experience when you are on the receiving end of a discover is much worse than how good it is to be on the side of discovering it.

It's basically how you feel when priest thoughtstole a card from you and kills you with it somehow, only you can't play around "Oh this guy got a random card from somewhere, do I play around Tirion or the 3/3 everything guy?" "Wait this guy discovered something from priest, warlock ,or mage? Fuck which aoe do i think he has?"

When you discover cards from multiple classes. Why did they do that. Or discover a card and then discount it by the mana you paid to cast the discover card. Why. IMO a lot of issues with the current game are discovers fault. Which is weird because discover was not really that important when it was first released.

Right now no shows that have not been dropped are in any danger, which means they should all be considered safe unless they do something incredibly dumb.

Going up the list.

Clione no Akari, despite being at the bottom of the list can shape up to be something very nice by the end... or something incredibly depressing too. Not sure where it's going.

FFF does its best at making something that's pretty dull kind of interesting. But they are doing it at the expense of any real character interaction or development. Which might hurt in later episodes.

Fate/Apocrypha finally starts to gain some traction. Although some of it might have to do with moe beserker.

Isekai Shokudou is like the feel good show of the season.

Princess Principal is a show that has basically exceeded all expectations so far. IMO its episode this week was the best of the ones I watched.

I do think the mage hero power is the best in arena (when more neutral healing existed it was rogue imo). But it's not so much better than the ones close behind it that I think it's OP.

IMO they are pretty close. If you already have big bodies alex is not needed. Elise is the only one of those you can play whenever you want even if her impact is probably lower so I'd say shes the safe pick. But Hemet basically allows you to win top deck wars if you are a slower deck.

Like there are several points in the show where you can see her defiant nature (from episode 1 on) and as you get to the end the demands she starts making of others (and especially the sybil) become greater. This is even more evident in S2 (which is not as good, but Akane is not the reason why). But like part of the way through she realizes the sybil is not perfect and later she realizes that even if it's imperfect it's not replaceable. Getting two realizations in the same show and making them both meaningful to a characters development is difficult to do.
