Of ours it's a thing, but people are getting it for free while first hand smoke costs money and the taxes on the tobacco are used for roads, schools, and hospitals. Do you work in a casino or in a state where it's still legal to smoke indoors?

And if you're not mad why all the hate? Is it because smokers are one of the only groups left that it's legally ok to discriminate against? If it really doesn't affect you or your immediate family why all the hate? What's going on in your life that has you lashing out at others who are not doing anything to you?

Yeah, it was Lucas's fault. He directed the actors to be like that. He thought that was good.

When Samuel L Jackson's acting is terrible in a movie, you know the director is bad.

This. Lucas is very good with visual effects and CGI but sucks at writing believable dialog and engaging stories, directing human actors, setting and maintaining tones, and understanding what people liked about the original trilogy that he had a big part in creating.

The prequels showed what he could accomplish without oversight from above and non-yesmen directly around to keep him in check. But they did make him ridiculous amounts of money and have been sparking conversations for years now. Plus I'm sure that everybody posting in this thread has seen all three prequel movies at least once, I've personally seen episodes 2 and 3 twice each, so that's a thing.

What up TC what show has made you so mad? Did it start out seeming deep and subtle but then had an ending that left you really unsatisfied?

Is it Naruto? It's okay if it's Naruto we all get pissed sometimes trying to get through that one because everybody gets a turn and it can get pretty aggravating watching somebody remember how they felt about something that happened one episode ago.

Is it Tsugumomo? That's an ecchi supernatural comedy with some decent fights so you really shouldn't be expecting too much depth from the writing.

It's ok TC you can tell us, we understand the frustration you are feeling with the series that is pissing you off right now.

Well yeah and colonialism wasn't just a western thing as the Japanese empire was pretty big in 1940.

I've a big nerd for history as it helps to see where we came from and how we got to where we are now. So many of the biggest social and political issues of today are coming from the effects of post colonialism and the major, minor, corporate, and dark horse powers playing with geopolitics for all kinds of different reasons.

I used to work out at a gym with a friend years ago and would walk around naked to the shower and sauna while he would always wear sandals and put towels down to sit on and while I never had any ill effects while he got athletes foot twice.

Learning to be comfortable in your own skin can help you to get over plenty of other insecurities.

Would it really be that much better off? There doesn't seem to be much correlation between the places that were less colonized (Ethiopia) and being better off. In fact, the country in the best situation in Sub-Saharan Africa right now is actually South Africa, which was the most colonized out of any of them. I guess there's an important distinction to make though between actually building up a nation because your own people want to live there (South Africa) and just completely plundering it (Democratic Republic of the Congo). Take a look at this map and think about how many of the countries you are thinking of right now existed at the turn of the last century. How many borders were intentionally placed around the world to cause as much tribal/religious/ethnic strife as possible to continue the plundering by western powers? Or how what was once called French Indochina, the British Raj, and the Dutch East Indies are how many countries today?

Look at a map of the area we call the middle east from 101 years ago right now and the read about the Sykes-Picot Agreement if you're interested in history and its effects to see some of how we got to where we are today and why the USA tries extra hard now since we were not big enough to get in on the Euraisan action 100 years ago.

The effects of colonialism and post colonialism are still felt today around the world and while its understandable that the western countries will not openly address this do to them doing these things for so much national, personal, and industrial benefit its still real. Especially here in the US as Washington is still in the empire game even as every other western empire (Spanish/Portugese/Dutch/German/Soviet/etc) has fallen apart in the last century or so.

But they are still going to store and mine all the data to play the long game with like all western countries do right?

That song is fire, even if it does have Daddy Yankee in it, and it got so many views so quickly it attracted that foreign kid to come in and do a remix.

And yeah he's always leeching off of American talent whether it's our singers, DJs, or producers but least we can look at it as a compliment of sorts since his country doesn't have enough population to help him out much.

Having car payments also requires you to have full coverage insurance. I'm assuming that you are in your 20s and look at a car as a status symbol as much as transportation but there are some other things to keep in mind about new cars:

What percentage of your income do you plan to spend on the payments and insurance? If you find one you like and figure out what the payments will be next contact a few insurance companies to find out what the full coverage will cost you every month too and factor that in too.

Will it make you a target where you live? America is getting rougher and more desperate every year and a new car where I live would make you a target. This may not apply at all to where you live/work/hang out but does affect more areas than many people realize as so much happens in the 'invisible' parts of America that fly completely under the radar of the majority.

I'm biased as I've never bought a new car in my 20 years of car ownership. We all know the depreciation stats and can spend some time online to research reliable models. If you (or a friend) know the basics of what to look for when checking out a particular vehicle you will rarely end up with a lemon. Also looking back on my 20s my friends that had new cars usually had the least amount of disposable income to actually do things with us.

I've been to one of those VDs before and just assumed it was a money laundering operation as its a cash only business.
