But mainly thanks to unrelated cards. The deck that won 2016 was basically a Galaxy deck with Blue Eyes support as the base. Oh, and I play modern Dark Magician, not Red Eyes. |

Alternate Dragon is fast but has a major drawback of needing essentially another Blue Eyes in hand to summon. Spirit Dragon's effect usually summons a non Blue Eyes related card. Twin Burst loses to Arch Black every time while it's also easier and a faster summon than Twin Burst and Ultimate Dragon. Arch black is even faster because Red Eyes Fusion spell, and the other material being a "Red eyes" monster. |
