The fact of the matter is that LP is one of the most influential rock bands of all time, and Chester was without a doubt one of the best rock singers ever. He and LP have defined a generation and their legacy will live on.

I think they were influential in the sense that they got a lot of people interested in music but as far as their actual music was concerned they weren't really all that influencal because they didn't really do anything new, they just took a bunch of things that were already being done and did it their own way and Chester's vocal talent and Mike's production and everything is what made them stand out. And it's not like we're still getting lingers of their style in popular music today considering the genre they started as is dead and the things they did later in their career like adding electronic elements and stuff weren't exactly new or anything. Or things like A Thousand Suns were they tried to make a "deep" album with dense production isn't anything new or interesting. It was like Great Value OK Computer which was like 15 years before it.

I'm not trying to be edgy or anything but what's with all these people who are getting some whole new meaning out of their music now? They weren't exactly deep writers or ambiguous or anything. They were all pretty straightforward and in your face because that was their entire style.When you heard songs like Waiting For The End or Given Up, what did you think it meant?
It's not like you need to read between the lines or find any hidden meanings, it was always super obvious. And shit I seem to recall Chester even doing a gun to his head motion when I saw them and they played Given Up. Like they made it pretty obvious...

Obviously I understand people saying it'll be harder to listen to _______ now, but I'm seeing a bunch if people acting like they're cracking some code that his suicide was the key for and they're just now figuring out the meaning of their songs.

If you're gonna kill your battery and data limits with streaming then at least have the sense to stop the ads with xposed or Lucky Patcher or something.

The ads aren't really a big deal or anything. Like 15-30 second audio ads occasionally.

And if you're on Android there are better options available that I can't mention.

It's still an Xbox One, similar to the PS4 Pro just actually powerful enough for native 4k @ 30fps and not some in between resolution. And 4k @ 60fps on select titles like Forza.

I imagine we won't get next gen until about 2020.

How? It'll actually have games and actual support by the company who made it, unlike the Vita. It's still entirely compatible with older One games and pretty much all future AAA titles will have some 4k version.
I really can't see it flopping as hard as the Vita let alone getting abandoned by the company who created it like it was.

I'm not sure if you used "overpriced" but meant to say "more expensive than" but you can say what you will about the One X but it's not overpriced, they've already said they're selling at cost I think, either that or for a slight loss.
It's actually a good deal as far as the hardware and performance you're getting, but when you factor in things like the cost of XBL over the lifetime to play online and the fact that games have better sales and stuff on PC, along with the benefits that come along with owning a PC such as mods as well as things that aren't necessarily related to gaming but still beneficial/useful.

So basically it's only selling point is graphics which if you actually care about graphics you wouldn't be a console gamer, you'd be a PC gamer. And if you were a truly competitive gamer you'd play on PC as well.
And lol at mentioning free sync as if people typically connect their console to a monitor, let alone but a new monitor for their console.

The only cool thing about it honestly, as a collector of movies and someone who plans to have a home theater soon, is the 4k Blu-ray player but that's on the S model too so idgaf.

It'll undeniably be "the best" if by "the best" you mean "the most powerful" but the fact that it has no exclusives and is still going to be held back by the PS4 Pro as far as actual game and engine stuff go, so all you're getting is extra resolution that most people don't even have a display for yet and a better framerates on a 1080p TV. Which it's not like console gamers have really been show to give much of a fuck about framerate and shit otherwise nobody would've bought either current gen console if they actually cared.

And assuming the CPU is still Jaguar based (I'm not sure if it is but I'm assuming) it doesn't matter how much they try to raise the clock speed or anything, it's still a garbage mobile platform that's severely underpowered. A $60 Pentium G4560 with 2 cores and hyperthreading completely blows it out of the water which holds things back a lot as far as engine physics, density, AI, etc. Go so games on a technical level are still going to be held back a lot by the shit CPU, but it'll just be able to make the same games just look better.
There won't be a big generational leap until the next gen consoles come out which will presumably be running on custom second gen Ryzen APU's which will be a major leap forward in a lot of ways in terms of what games are capable of. The One X isn't going to really make games be capable of more than just more pixels and higher framerates which is nice and all but considering it has no games and the PC is a superior and cheaper long term platform it doesn't really have any reason to exist.

The family was dumb for trying to politicize their kid like that and he's right that a lot of kids with gender dysphoria (which this kid might not even have that and probably doesn't, he might just be a kid that likes generally female things) grow out of it and the kid might grow out of it and then realize his parents were just politicizing him, or be might not and then still feel the same way.
