If he gets held off at all long enough for Kuja to nuke, he is dead.

See though, False Eye of the Mind is specifically made to read these kinds of traps and respond in kind. It's the reason why he can fight someone like Berserker as more than an equal, someone who outstats him by 100% in strength, speed, agility, size, etc without using his Reality Marble.

This sort of plan is not only one he'd see coming, but one he'd easily counter.

Caster began with enough distance between them that Archer basically just shot her to death while she tried and failed to block it.

They actually started within melee range. It's just that unlike Kuja Caster has immense regenerative powers, teleportation and illusions.

For whatever the result of an Archer vs Kuja battle, Archer vs Kuja and Alice is *much* worse for him just because he straight up can't hurt her for 20 seconds.

Archer doesn't need to kill Alice, he's got enough physical strength, skill and practical foresight he can basically just kick her off of the platforms without any issue.

Heracles is one of the best Berserkers even in the JP side of the game, personally going on a simply mechanical level I'd go with him. Which I did, going to be replacing out my EMIYA with him and stick him with my HF.

Now for the freebie, I'm waffling between getting another Emiya to buff his NP, getting Herc, or getting Marie. I feel like Marie wouldn't be used much with Medusa and I'm not sure how much I really want Herc compared to Lancelot or even Kiyohime-- never was a huge fan of the guy.

I'm thinking Emiya's probably the smart choice in spite of already having him but I guess I'll probably wait to see what my remaining draws on this banner give me.

NP is not tremendously useful to buff, if I am to be frank.

The way it works is that every dupe fed into it increases your NP bar by another 100%, but it doesn't double their damage. For EMIYA's case it raises it from 300% to 400% damage.

Gilgamesh is a great servant who I think is still entirely relevant to this day, so I'd recommend pulling/rerolling for him if you do not have a good servant. I'd certainly appreciate a good Gilgamesh support.

Noticeably you can get him from the FP Summon, mind. I'd recommend saving your quartz for an event-limited 5*. Personally I'm going to try and roll for Jalter, the best damage dealer in the game.

Took me way too long to realize you could equip Beginning of the Journey on your own Servant to give yourself the bonus without using a Friend's...

And you can equip it on any of them. So I stuck it on Mashu, since I don't use her at all. It's been pretty great grinding FP with story servants and that.

What level would you say is good to start doing these? I feel like I might be strong enough (Level 50 ascended Vlad, 30 ascended Cu, 30 Mash, 20 Sasaki) but I'm scared I'm going to die and basically be out several hours of AP filling. >_>

Just use 3 command spells to resurrect everyone. They regenerate 1 per day anyway.

I feel like you get enough Ascension items WAY before you are actually high enough level to use them. Emiya still has like 16 or so levels to go and he's my closest.

You really need to grind for XP cards I've found. Been at it a long time, now both my waver and EMIYA are high level but no ascension materials.

I know Waver is supposed to be really good, but I'm not excited to get him and so many people have him as their support unit he is not hard to find.

Speaking as someone who has him, Waver is pretty incredible. He builds NP ridiculously fast, his abilities turn damage to nothing, improve crithits and then just straight up boost damage by a third. Combine him with someone amazing like Jalter (Or more recently, Arturia and Atilla) to turn them into absolute damage monsters. His bond CE also straight up boosts all buster cards forever when he's on the field for everyone.

There's no one else who fulfills his role as good as he does until Merlin comes in and he's around 2 years away.

I don't get the context behind this statement. The Grim Reaper is a fictional thing that has no preset durability and by aesthetics alone is just a skeleton in a robe with a scythe in most contemporary media and depictions.

As explained by MGR, the quality of a blade's make enhances its power when turned into an HF blade. A basic blade like Raiden uses for most of MGR is on one level, the Murasama is on a different one. It's enhanced in much the same way Raiden is.

Yes, you're right.

But what about it? What makes it so invulnerable that Id of all people can't break it? In the end it is still a sword made of conventional materials and despite it's HF treatment, it is still exactly that. It's not got any super technowizard bullshitium upgrades or materials, it's not made of super nanofiber materials, it's not magical and it's certainly not possessed by the spirit of solid snake.

So why can't Id break it? Why can't Id the person who with his own fists breaks Mecha, not break a HF blade?

The flame matters nothing to this fight, bar some snarking about it.

Raiden's sword isn't invulnerable and I feel that his weaponry would get snapped and broken early on in the fight rather than later. Raiden with fists is a huge downgrade to his combat ability, in my opinion.

She can't. As noted FF14 scholar greengravy294 will note and agree with me, Y'sh's spells are limited to 30 yalms, about comparable to yards. So once the fight is over 30 meters above the ground, Y'shtola Rhul is more like Y'shtola RIP Your Contributions.

And Phazon goes over 30 meters of ground in effectiveness

Dark Samus shoots Phazon. Every single one of her attacks are phazon. If she hits Kefka then Kefka's going to have phazon on him.

If Y'shtola goes near Phazon'd Kefka, then she'll be under the effects of Phazon too.

Doesn't mean he can't be under the influence of "Your mind gets completely fucked" part of Phazon. Compound that with how bad Kefka is regularly and well, personally I wouldn't see him being very reasonable toward anyone.

I mean, I guess. My main issue with VS Kefka is that Damus can infinitely spawn clones that explode on death and by their very presence basically inflict megaphazon poison.

She can basically kite 24/7 with minimal offensive effort while her clones continually suicide onto Kefka. If Y'sholta can heal at such a range then it's just a matter of "When she does she run out of MP" or "When does Kefka get further insane'd by Phazon and controlled by Damus".

Dark Samus is a super being made of phazon in a suit. But the suit is also made out of phazon. And she can repair the suit with phazon.

So it's pretty weird.

Dark Samus Y'sh and Shulk are neutered and Kefka gets dunked by Dark Samus and her clones.

Arguably he could reinforce their bodis too.

This match is hard. The only person I really respect on Lilith's team is Archer and Cloud.

But Archer is effectively neutered. Which makes it hard to judge. With Archer limited to melee against so many opponents though makes it hard to decide, he has been in melee against Berserker for extensive periods for several of his lives.

Although this is a valid feat of melee, I feel the gang-up can overcome it. So, Nier

Id and KOS MOS
Even assuming all three suplex'd people all died from the SoBs Sephiroth and Revan could likely carry this fight on their own. With Id, Bayonetta and KOS MOS this is overkill.

Yeah Raziel would get some healing from Diablo I agree. But I just think Diable straight up tears him limb from the second he gets caught and I don't see Raziel being able to dodge everything that's thrown at him long enough to kill off Diablo.

Raziel VS Diablo is an interesting thread in my head, mostly due to plot reasons as D3 Diablo is an amalgamation of souls, after all.

How does a L'Cie deal with this sort of potency? How does their resistance work against this?

Because in the Damus bossfight Samus is in essentially her Hypermode which oneshots nearly every enemy in the game bar bosses and even then she's on a timelimit, if she fails at that point she becomes a second Dark Samus merely due to corruptive influences.

Think about this for a moment. Samus needs to be in her STRONGEST MODE AND FORM to even stand a chance against Damus and even then when hopped up entirely on all that power she's getting Phazon corrupted into a second Dark Samus.
