so anyways, I'm already on day 3 and I'm STILL in the Goron Temple


I remember I used to be able to beat this dungeon without a sword in an ingame day, go get the sword, win the gold dust, then get the Gold Sword all in one cycle

granted I was using the guide, but yea, thats the point. It was all the guide, not me!

I now have Goron link, I purchased the biggest bomb bag, I got the Don Gero mask, and I got the heart piece on the way to snowhead

So I got a heart piece in the Deku garden, and got another in a chest near the temple

I got the two heart pieces in both archery minigame places, as well as both quivers


I got the Mask of Scents....I seriously completely forgot what I do with this thing

Each mask at least leads to a heart piece. Forgot how to do that with this one!

i also got all of the fairies! I didn't know the upgrade was double magic meter already. I thought it was the Sword Spin upgrade


I completely forgot about the Skulltulla houses. Thats gonna suck

I tried showing my friend KH and I completely forgot how stupid and slow the Islands were


it completely killed it for my friend



KH2 had a cool ending to the prologue, but even when I first played it, it felt super long and dragged out

So I did just that

then I remembered the creepy hand in the toilet and gave him the Deku land deed

and theeeeeen I partially did the Kafei quest

did enough to get the Keaton Mask and the Postman's hat

got the heart piece from a mail box and got the heart pieces from the Kitsunes at the playground in North CT, and at Milk Road


I also took a pic of TINGLE and presented it to the Pictograph guy


there....NOW I'm fresh out of progress!

Man, they made some amazing improvements in this game!

So many mi-nute tweaks

Despite owning it, I've only played this game like 4 times. And I had a Strategy Guide for each playthrough. I don't have everything memorized like in OoT from just raw playing

Another thing they changed thats extremely subtle, to the point where its probably unintentional


is that when Link hands Zelda the Ocarina, after she holds his hand, he shifts HIS hand from the top to the Ocarina to the bottom, gently touching Zelda's hand while sliding his hand entirely off

that didn't happen here in the Remake

one uncool thing that the remake does is that the final battle is actually really well lit

you can see Ganon perfectly

in the older ones, its so dark you can only see his eyes and it makes him more ominous

in the spirit temple, theres a sun roof full of webs that you have to clear to light up some suns with your mirror shield


in the room BEFORE it, theres a few lit torches

you can just BARELY do it, but its possible yet again to awkwardly position yourself to shoot a lit arrow

Theres also a section in the Shadow part of the castle where theres two lone torches on each end of the map

If you light it, it creates a solid pathway in which you can cross about halfway through the map. using din's fire next to it won't do because the time limit the bridge it creates is way too short. So you can't light it, get back to the entrance, then cross the bridge before time is up. The torch is on it's own little platform

The solution?

The platform the bridge leads to has a Like Like on it

just hookshot that b**** from the Torch platform


theres a small platform with a switch on it that makes the Chest with the Golden Gauntlets appear

the OTHER torch makes a bridge from the switch platform to the chest

buuuut, you can just hookshot the chest from the switch platform

continuing to cheat the system!

this can be bypassed by using the Scarecrow song on an unrelated pillar that has a bunch of hearts, then you can drop down


in the Forest section of Ganon's tower, theres a circle of torches in the middle of a room in which you have to use Din's Fire on, and then theres a lone torch across the room. You can position yourself near one of the Din torches and fire a fire arrow that way, but considering its actually really hard to do, I don't think its supposed to be done this way

so yea, as long as I don't need it in any other part of the castle,
