And I'm not actually weighing in on the "false rape > rape" thing.

It's just already too easy to make the "She's a party girl with regrets" defense. Having a case like this in the news certainly doesn't help that, even beyond the lives she ruined just to get sympathy.

Eh, I think Corbin's more interesting than Ziggler by default just for being a heel that could actually believably beat the heel champ. What makes MitB interesting to me is anticipating when they'll cash it in and if they could win, not the promos they cut because of it. Ziggler is smug and terrible all the time, giving him MitB wouldn't really boost that.

I'm just saying that from the get go, people were basically going "This is a bad idea, they'll get hurt." So WWE going with a heavily booked, safe match was pretty expected. I don't think there's any point in them going for some historic image when the women were being shit on from the beginning, so they made the best of a bad situation.

But it feels like it would've been better for a second Women's MITB match with how much they hyped up how great and historic it is for the women and then have a dude just get the briefcase and give it to a girl. Like, wouldn't it have been a great photo op/clip for the history of this match and all future "Look at how great and equal our women are now!" montages and whatnot if they had a woman actually grabbing the briefcase and holding it up. Because now our historic image is Carmella sitting there as a briefcase drops into her lap.

I mean, I don't think there was much chance for "Look how equal they are!" when, from the day this match was announced, all half of even this topic talked about was the chances of somebody getting hurt.

The reaction wasn't "Good for them, how cool." It was "Oh god, they're going to hurt themselves."

Well, I thought bayos team couldn't kill the airforce so probably lost in the end. But after I argued the arwings start in the air not 10 meters away due to the convenient starting spot disclaimer which would negate any blowing up shinanz. Kanz has made it known explicitly that every arwing starts ten meters away from the opposing team in a spot convenient to them from that distance.

Thus, every arwing crashes at the start. It is mathematically impossible for that starting position for the arwings which is why I thought the ideal starting spot disclaimer nullified that. However, Kanz is the administrator and his word is law thus.
