I'm so sick of working this min wage part time job at 25 years old. It's incredibly easy and I can literally surf the internet the whole day but I don't get enough hours and they don't offer full time so I'm just banking on the fact that I wont have any huge medical problems. I want to start a career and have a salary so I can blow money on fun stuff instead of being conscious about it. This job also has me waking up at 5 AM and I'd rather not do that anymore. I've applied to like maybe over 20 places now and gotten a bunch of rejections.

You literally can't see yourself unless you have a reflection. Why on earth would you need to care about looking good when you are the only one there? Do you sit at home and play video games in your night club attire or your job interview attire? How about a dash of cologne to go make some breakfast eggs? Obviously not.

AND, if you're only one at your home or whatever and for some reason, choose to put on makeup or whatever, by who's standards are you looking better for? The answer is society's. Even if you aren't physically going out in the real world, you still are putting makeup on for what hypothetical people would perceive you as.

Why do you think it's weird when little kids wear a ton of makeup? I mean little kids need to feel good about themselves too. But when we see like 10 year olds doused in makeup, we find it repulsive. Because makeup is meant to make you more attractive to the people you are trying to attract. That's why it's weird for them to do it. You see a kid in light up shoes, they wear it to feel cooler and better about themselves, nobody bats an eye, totally acceptable and fair. You see an 8 year old wearing full on eye shadow, lipstick, blush, fake eyelashes and you find absolutely nothing weird about that? I do. I similarly find it weird when fucking old ass 90 year old grandmas are all caked out too (granted, less weird than when kids do it, but still a little weird). Maybe I'm not as open minded as you.

Clearly they put it on to look more attractive whether they know that's why they're doing it or not. Same thing with guys stylizing their hair or whatever. They're doing it to look attractive to other people. There's nothing wrong with looking attractive for other people.

Otherwise girls would put on makeup even at home and would never have to apply any before going out, cause it would already be on.

Dre has really nice and punchy beats, but I think Premier's feel more musical and artsy/soulful to me which makes me like Premier more. DJP feels like he's experimenting whereas Dre seems like he's varying his working formula.

What are you most comfortable with? If you're a homebody you'd probably rather be inside. If you're used to being outside, then outside is key.

I'd honestly prefer inside, because then we have the option of changing the setting/activity easily, we can listen to music, and we can control the temperature. Outside might be a fun time though, especially in a place with great scenery. I'm probably split 60/40

The weather tomorrow is going to be 68 degrees F and there is definitely rain before we eat them and a possibility of rain afterward. Regardless, very high chance of it being wet outside with a slight chance of it continuing to rain.

Two options.

Outside: we'd be going to an arboretum (which is a giant park with a ton of variety of trees). We'd basically be there for 7 hours since it's a far-ish drive, but it's close to other stores and stuff in case we wanna get food or go chill somewhere else or something.

Inside: we'd be inside a comfortable apartment and have the option of going outside and walking around. Or just stay in and chill.

I still like the Original Trilogy more but Rogue One was definitely an amazing movie. I saw Force Awakens, it was okay but it was mostly boring, and I thought, "Wow if Episode fuckin 7 is this boring, I can't imagine how boring a filler movie would be", so I watched RO on a whim.

It was way better than I expected, very good even, and I was like, wow, that was way the hell better than Ep 7. Great take on how the non-Jedi parts of Star Wars play out.

Idk it depends on the movie. They got pretty much impossible later on. I haven't seen any of the films past the 2nd one but I've seen some of the traps and it's totally rigged. At least each one in the first movie (except the leg cuff) were winnable.

We were texting Thursday and said he'd be free Friday. I text him Friday and he said he'd be free in 2 hours. 4 hours later, I text back asking if he's around and sorry for sounding impatient. I then text him again 2 hours later saying that I wouldn't be around for the remainder of that day and asked what times on Sat/Sun he'd be around. No reply since then.

People being on smartphones for sure.

It's fucking annoying when you're trying to show someone something or in the middle of responding to their question/comment or whatever, and they're just on their smartphone. Or, sometimes people use their smartphone while driving for the most unimportant stuff like checking other Snapchat stories or something. Even at an event, like a concert or whatever it may be, people would just rather look at it through their smartphones instead of the live fucking spectacle in front of them. I get taking a clip, but why record the entire thing? Are you even gonna watch it again?

Sometimes it sucks when I'm at a table with an entire group of people and literally everyone is on their smartphones. I'm like, wtf is the point of hanging out. Just to prove to other people that you're hanging out?

I work at some bum ass gym where the owners don't even give a shit about anything. The cool part is that I can do basically anything I want on my shifts (like, use the internet, etc) but the bad part is that I have no benefits/security, part time, hours can be scarce, and there's literally no coverage so sometimes I'm demanded to come in like it was a real job. And I'm not engaged mentally so I'm getting real bored and unmotivated.

It's way more than I make at this part time job, and I can learn things during that job that would advance me further if I desire. I'm not in grad school. I graduated undergrad in December and I've just been chilling, and I'm sick of not making enough money. My degree is in Health and I can't do anything specific with my major in my field. Dietician, Nutritionist, Wellness Managers, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physician Assistant, etc, all require further education. I suppose I could do jobs that just require and undergrad degree, like research (and...maybe that's it? I can't think of anything entry that only needs a degree), but I need a plan B if that doesn't work out.

I can't even say that I'm passionate about Health anymore. So the way I see it, if I have equal passion or not passion for several things, I might as well take the one that makes me money the soonest.

coding or IT is a career. It is not something you do for "a quick buck" It takes investment of years of time to turn it into a lucrative position. Like medicine or law.

Well it's either that or I spend 2 years and thousands upon thousands of dollars going to grad school. I'd rather pick an option that I'm semi-interested in and can start having a stable job sooner than spending a lot of time in grad school.

Also I thought a benefit of these things were that there are a range of positions available. Like, if I wanted to pursue it all the way, then I could make like 60-100+k. but I'm not looking to get super high up, just something to get by comfortably for one person.

My friend had a cube (a knockoff one), and I felt that it was too small to feel substantial. The analog stick part is alright, but all the buttons and switches and whatnot felt too tiny for me to enjoy.

It's a very awkward motion for one hand/finger to rotate something like that, and part of the need for fidgeting is that I always need to be doing something. Spinning something once just to let it spin takes out my involvement in it, which is the entire thing I need to ease my fidgeting. Like, a rubber band works way better than a FS. FS are just dumb.
