Who drinks beer for taste? It's for making social gatherings less tense.

That's what wine's for.

Only if you are living in the middle ages or French...even cheap wine is more expensive than 6 pack.

Most of the beer I drink comes in 4-packs and costs more than $14.

But yeah states/counties might have wildly different levels of taxes that factor in as well.

A $14 six pack is not likely to be as abhorrent a beer as you're acting, is what I'm saying.

The best beer I've tasted (personally, it's Gulden Draak 9000) pales in comparison to a similarly priced for the quantity of alcohol in almost any whiskey. Whiskey is just... better. Like in absolutely every way. One can also argue the price, but I've never had more than like 3 glass on a regular basis, though even going past 2 glass is a bit much in my ever festering body

Ok, sure.

I am being a tad hyperbolic, but so is everyone saying that Budweiser is pisswater. Beer (megabrewery lager style) has got more in common taste-wise with granny smith apples than it does with piss.

Bota box (3L) is <$20 and contains 20 drinks, which is about the same price/alcohol as 20 pack of mass produced light beer while having superior taste.

They are so much better too.

I never used to like beer too much, but after my vacation in Europe, I actually like it now. The beers over there are a lot richer in taste.

Glad that millenials are intelligent enough to not be chavs/white trash drinking bud light all day or spending 6 hours a day in the pub.

It's going to be funny in a couple years when craft beers become so popular that everyone is going to stop liking them because of the type of people they are.

That's only about 3 pitchers of beer though, that's only enough for about 4 people.

Beer penetration fell 1% from 2016 to 2017 in the US market, while both wine and spirits were unmoved, according to Nielsen ratings.

Goldman Sachs now expects the overall beer market in the US to decline by 0.7% in 2017. It downgraded Boston Beer Company from "neutral" to "sell" and Constellation Brands from "buy" to "neutral."

The beer industry is really on its deathbed, guys.

I bought this craft IPA at Buffalo Wild Wings for like 5 bucks. The shit was garbage. Tasted sweet as hell. Disgusting, and I will repeal it!

I'll stick with Budwiser, Bud Light, Bud Light Platinum, Coors Light, Yuengling, Rolling Rock, Olde English, and Colt 45!

If you are ever at an indian restaurant you should try Tajmahal, tastes like Yuengling without the wooden barrel aftertaste...apparently it has the same lowclass reputation as Fosters or Pabst though...its pretty alright.

So millennials are smart enough to not drink something that harms them and is addictive? Good for them maybe all other generations can learn from them now to eliminate cigarettes too.

I'm no millennial but I've never understood why so many people prefer what tastes like a bucket of piss left out in the sun (beer) over a nice mixed drink, a straight shot or a glass of wine.

I think wine generally tastes worse than beer does.

They drink wine and hard alcohol though, just not beer.
