You know, the more I think about it, the more I think Erased would be fantastic as a visual novel. All the different routes and timelines lends itself more to that medium. It would have all the content of the manga and probably more, plus the fantastic soundtrack from the show, plus gorgeous detailed artwork.

Finished Erased. The last few episodes certainly dipped in quality and felt rushed, but still good. Overall I'd give it at least 8/10, maybe more just because Hinazuki's arc was so damn strong.

I also checked out the MAL episode discussion forums and MY GOD, THE SALT. From the complaints of Kayo not waiting for Satoru (which, while disappointing, was totally understandable and realistic), to the general complaints of things cut from the manga (which was unavoidable for 12 episodes; they should have just shot for more). I think it ended nicely enough, and that he managed to earn his final reward with Airi.

I think the show worked out well enough even if it did get weak in the end; the main thing is to just keep in mind that the anime and manga are two different things. I'll have to check out the manga as well though; it's being released in English so I'll probably just buy it.

Midori Days plays around with the genre a bit. There's the main girl, but some other girls, a bit of yaoi, yuri, and one or two stalkers (although most of that is just in the manga). And the protagonist is the opposite of a little bitch.

They're manga, but both Umi no Misaki and Domestic na Kanojo have decent protagonists. There's also not really a clear cut main girl; they're all great and well written characters with an equal chance of hooking up (and many of them do).

Hell yeah, frozen Nutty Bars.

I like Swiss Rolls (also frozen), oatmeal cream pies, Reese's, Ferrero Rocher, Pay Day bars, etc. I actually try not to get them very often; I can't say I really eat healthy but I try. I eat a lot of trail mix, granola bars, or crackers for snacks.

If I had bothered to read the OP I would have seen what TC meant. But even so, I wouldn't really consider this "face down." I simply thought face down meant that the face of watch was facing down (with your wrist in the normal position).

Flip that right back around. If you're trying to make an absolute, universal claim, it's a good idea to be able to prove it. The basic scientific approach to understanding something is to not assume you already know for absolutely certain how it works. It's not on me to prove that something is not necessarily always true; it's on others to prove that it is.

The only way to prove that it's not true is to ask lolicons themselves for a direct answer. And I have a feeling that if they said no, many people would just say they're lying.

Edit: I misread your post.. thought you were trying to tell me to prove my claim. *facepalm* But it still stands.

No, I don't think I get what you meant. Because like I said before, liking something in games/fantasy does not mean you like it in real life. You can play Guitar Hero without wanting to play a real guitar, you can play roller coaster tycoon or ruthlessly kill NPC's without wanting to do them in the real world, and the same applies here. It especially applies to things that are morally reprehensible in the real world.

I'll extend it to other fetishes that I don't care for. There's plenty of seriously dark themes or subject matter in hentai that I absolutely don't care for. That doesn't mean that I think anyone who does like that stuff is dying to do it for real.
