Still, to call Boyhood overrated trash. Why did you use those specific words? I get not liking a movie, everyone has a few films they dislike that have received critical acclaim.

I mean a 100% movie being overrated, sure it can happen. When you call it trash, you're putting in the 0-30% range. That puts it in the Jack and Jill range. So of course you can't act surprised when people disagree with that assessment.

Watched a few eps of Little Witch Academia on the ol' Netflix.

I think I'm siding with lefty after a good 6-7 episodes.

The show just isn't very interesting. I'm mostly checking it out, because the trailers for the game looked solid. Shame, I wasn't a fan of Kill la Kill, but hey that could have been just a one off and with LWA, I don't hate the show, I just can't get engaged.

Story's just not doing it for me, the episodic content isn't particularly funny or interesting and the subplots don't feature any hooks that have me dying to find out the reveals.


Maybe I should just get started on The Tatami Galaxy instead.

I remember last year during a conference panel with Hiro Mashima, one of the audience questions had to do with the fanservice in his series.

He was actually very proud of the fanservice he could draw because he liked his characters so much, and they were very well liked by fans too.

Love Sanji from One Piece, but I do feel like Kurapika from HxH pulls off the mafia/secret agent style plotlines better.

This current arc as well as the Yorknew Arc have him do work that exceeds those segments Sanji's had, which to be fair weren't nearly as developed.

Both pull off these types of arcs better than Reborn ever did though :(
