And this is why your parents are overprotective. She could cheat on you, and you'd be completely blindsided and far worse a wreck than if you even slightly suspected her. She could be screwing you over right now, and you would deny it, probably not even confront her, until you had someone give you definitive proof.

Trust is important. But equally important is the reasoning underlying said trust, whether it's blind or with rationale. I'm not saying to become suspicious of her every action, but never deny the possibility she could screw you. Because no matter what happens, you can never fully know another human being.

Your parents see this blind faith and grow concerned because she could be using you, abusing this faith. Many trusting people have been blindsided because their SO does something unexpected; hell, I have too. You are not immune to this.

I don't think I can really tell you what to do here. I'm simply trying to communicate your parents' rationale. Your parents are not all bad; they just don't want to see some girl use you and leave you devastated when you find out.

Now, granted, their behavior is an overreach in my opinion. It's just nudes. Comparatively safe, but it's likely just a part of a larger pattern of behavior. If you are truly irritated, talk with them about it.
