Id been playing Dragon Quest V, which I could certainly do but I decided to mess around in Elden Ring. Ouch.

I can understand that they dont want people who think theyre so good to pick a practically impossible difficulty (with no knowledge) from the jump but something like Kingdom Hearts really doesnt need to do that, I feel.

Well in Smashs case, it stars video game characters, in a video game. People who buy Smash probably played at least some of the games meant to be represented, its sort of a natural thing, and they have the console already. PSASBR had mechanics didnt care for, and more recently a lot of their mascot characters have essentially been retired.

Well, just getting rid of the layer itself isn't a huge issue, but applying it to every .psd automatically is. Frankly, I might just have to redo the adjustments without the leveling, from what I can tell. The application I used allows me to turn off automatic leveling, and it would be faster than manually changing every individual .psd file and saving them.

Beyond that, there's too many variables to give a straight answer. What sort of edit are you making? How many files do you have to go through?

I mostly just want to get rid of a leveling layer that came from another application I was using. It looked good as it was being done, but once it was all finished, it just made the all of the images look discolored. Its about 170 files I think.

Well, I did use that once, depending on how things go I might need to revisit.

It seems like it should be simple, but I dont use the program at all. So I have a bunch of .psds , I need to make an adjustment to all of them, and then convert them to pngs after the adjustment. It wasnt hard to figure out how to make the adjustment action itself, but getting the action to process on every .psd I want, and then converting them, I cant figure out if its even possible.

I like the Disney stuff when its implemented well. I tend to prefer the original stuff, but with how disappointed I was with 3 when it came to FF characters, I think its evident that all three parts are important, at least for a numbered game.

So to say it first, I'm not exactly happy about either, but since it's a comic that I should really just get out, I'll try not to cry about it. But I believe these were, at some point, both considered 'finished', but how different they look is really getting to me. Like, I can't just redraw everything that looks off. I've procrastinated on this for ages and ages already, busy doing work, games, etc. But it's just jarring, and I'm pretty sure there are more evident examples I could show, this is just an easy comparison. I dunno, I'm just whining. This is what happens when you don't work on something consistently and pick it back up way later. Also known as 'this is what a lack of planning gets you'

You do seem afraid of finishing. It isnt bad to mess around with concepts or ideas, but youre clearly at the home stretch based on what youve said. The fear could come from two places. Right now, you have a clear goal, and when you finish, your goal will become muddled until you find another project. And on the other hand, you might fear that when you finish, itll be mediocre or even bad. But you cant know until you finish. And youll continue to be bottlenecking your own growth until you finish.

Its possible youll end up disappointed or frustrated with the end product, but instead of fearing that, figure out where things went wrong, and try to resolve those issue. Youll have more for your portfolio, and youll be better at what you want to do. Of course, this is all just my assumptions.

My regular handwriting is pretty bad, so combine that with me not remembering how to write most letters in cursive, take a guess

I dont really travel and it still became my main gaming device tbh. I dont actually like sitting down at my desk to play PC games, and I havent even bothered getting a modern console besides the Switch. But I also dont play the newest AAA games or anything, so your mileage may vary in what you get out of it. I just find it very comfortable to play.

It was a dream about Kingdom Hearts 2 I guess. Sephiroth sent a challenge letter to Cloud, and normally we would go straight to Sephiroths location, but the letter seemed to be on a Winnie the Pooh birthday card of sorts. So I went there instead, and there was a secret cutscene/moment where there were a few heartless in there, which there never are in the game proper. I think my sister mightve been there, I dont remember.

I think I remember that, unfortunately. I believe she proceeded to shoot herself in the head as well. As I recall, it was a bit unclear if it was accidental or not. I dont exactly want to see it though.

You got it. I knew she wasn't in the flashback for that long, but I was surprised just how little she showed up, it was hard to get a good reference for her that wasn't fanart. Of course, it's still messed up a bit around the arm area, it shouldn't be that baggy, and she has some other thing on the arm as well.

I appreciate it. Something I've heard is that almost anyone can understand that 'something' is wrong when it's wrong, but not always really understand the solution. I haven't looked at it myself to sort of let myself refresh, but considering I didn't have much of an idea where I went wrong, I think your ideas are just as valid, maybe even more so, because you're looking at it from a complete outsider view.

side note, working on that and getting over the writing bump I was stuck at has had me work a little bit on the comic that I pretty much stopped. I've been trying to keep up drawing at lease a little bit, so I don't think my ability has fully atrophied, thankfully.

Id say theres a lot of both. I personally see more left leaning people, maybe its because I am as well. But they dont always agree with everything other left-leaning people say, or thats how I take it.
