I'm from a single parent home where my mom worked 2 and 3 jobs my entire childhood and basically I learned to cook and fend for myself at around 10 or 11, she'd leave me money to go grocery shopping and I'd basically cook and clean while she worked. All signs say I should be a criminal or junkie, but I turned out pretty well.
