This drives me fucking crazy.
The dialogue and fx, music etc. is so inconsistent in everything nowadays so I would like to have subtitles for dialogue but these streaming services like Netflix only have subtitles with closed captioning and that ruins the experience.
Why not just have subtitles for dialogue? People who want subs aren't necessarily deaf. DVDs and Blu-ray always had an option for subs without cc.

Yes because it's less "work" I guess. Video games feel like a placebo for a job to me nowadays. Beating a hard boss or something just doesn't feel like a big accomplishment anymore.
Also story-driven games don't feel great anymore because I've played enough most are the same with different coat of paint.
Horror is possibly one genre I'll never get over. I just found a decent enough price on Splatterhouse for PS3 and I told myself "this may be the last physical game I ever buy"
