Id definitely say keeping ID on record is a valid concern, but I also don't know why that would be required. When I scan in tour guests, we pull first name and DOB automatically into the system from any of the 50 states' ID. I dunno. Seems simple but again, I'm not being a pompous ass when I respond indignantly to people throwing absolute nonsense at the wall. I've asked for explanation several times and gotten shitty replies every time. I've been dismissive of dismissive language, sure, but I'm definitely approaching this in a more adult manner than the hyenas playing around, yes. I can and will address some people differently, yes.

Regardless, fellas, this is a strictly good thing given the amount of votes its going to flip blue. Could be the beginning of a huge mindset change. I don't think requiring age verification for internet porn is overreach. Stop playing word games. Many people think child protective services existing at all is overreach, so I couldn't care less about that subjective term being used as an objective measurement.

It's the job of the parents to ensure their children are not accessing inappropriate content on devices. We don't want to live in a nanny state.

There's a difference between nanny state and state that doesnt directly allow companies to profit from providing pornography to minors. We already require this at physical stores. Why should it be different for a massive online company that distributes directly into your household?

I'm not. I support the idea of requiring ID to access internet pornography. I definitely said that earlier. The use of the word "need" here makes this a bad faith question but again Ill give a real answer. I don't support an industry that literally profits off of providing access to pornography to minors. When they want to do this for other things, man I'll be right there beside you. Voter ID requirements are tyrannical. But internet porn? I think its completely reasonable to ID for that.
