It's more to do with the very blatant disregard of any community here for the sake of virtue signaling and fake morality, which really just boils down to Fandom wanting to nuke this site because it's a competitor of their wikis. A lot of GameFAQs' decline was happening before this, but Allen did as much as he could to prevent the site from going away. Allen left in what I find to be a pretty clear protest, and Fandom has zero incentive to keep this place alive. Basically the question now is what do we do about our contributions.

It exists in every corner of the internet, and is much worse nearly everywhere else.Also you should be careful about disagreeing with your overlords, been seeing some demodding and I'm not too sure what that's about.
