Huh, I counted 38 saves and 12 non-saves on page 1 so I thought the count was right but looks like I miscounted there as well and it was 37/13. I recounted this morning and got 38/12 again so I redid the whole tally but now I'm getting 37/13 so idk which post was tripping me up. Sorry Cyndaquil fans (including myself) if that was the difference Burned Out: 20. Cyndaquil Last year: 2/42 The other finalist from last year falls, but at least he can say he got the better of Spheal this time around. Great Pokemon and an even better plushie. Sad to see him go this early. Meowth, That's Not Right: 21. Meowth Last year: 34/42 A big improvement over last year in both raw placement and especially relative performance as he survived an extra 22 rounds. Meowth is a good Pokemon, especially thanks to the anime, and I feel like it also makes for great plushies. Not all Pokemon translate well to stuffed toys but Meowth always seems to hit rough couple days for early gens, but that's bound to happen with how slim the rest have gotten |

I'm more of a fan of linear experiences (my favorite game is FFX) than open stuff in general Then I played Hollow Knight and have since played a ton of indie games I enjoyed and Metroidvania is now my second favorite genre. HK is a top 5 game for me as well. I love basically everything about it. Great movement, great combat, great atmosphere, you name it. I don't really understand the "couldn't get into it" stuff unless you just don't like Metroidvanias, but sometimes stuff just doesn't click for people and that's fine. BotW didn't click for me, for example. Anyway yes play it now |
