For me personally, I don't mind having a female character with unrealistic body proportion but I'm always a fan of diversity in body types in general. If you got female characters with exaggerated hourglass body proportion wearing impractical and/or slutty outfits and/or armor, it would be great for a male equivalent like that for the male characters as well. Same for other body types like slim, fat, obese, etc. The reason Marissa in SF6 is so well liked by the community, especially among the female fanbase, by far is that even though her muscular body type is obviously not attainable for the majority of the female population, the fact that we even get an overly muscular body type for a female character to begin with...something that hasn't really been represented in video games a whole lot...plus she's really fun to play as.

Top tier design imo.

Except for her dumb haircut. I hate that. Love everything else though.

Another one will take its place, these mobile games are so cheap and easy to make I wouldn't be surprised if most of their expenses is just paying the artist to make the waifu baits as attractive as possible.

Some of these games are quite expensive to make and not easily replaceable.

Look into memento Mori for example. If you wanted to create a clone of it you'd need to:

• Create original live 2D art for every single character
• Hire a composer to write a song and lyrics for every single character
• Hire a vocalist for every song in both English and Japanese.
• You can't skimp on the vocalists either. DAOKO is one of them for example she's a highly famous Japanese pop star.

Those are just the big expenses. You still have to do all the other shit that goes along with running an online game.

Basically none of them. In the long run youll save money on most things by just buying and owning the things you want to consume instead of paying a subscription fee for the rest of your life. There are exceptions to this, like anime, which has always been expensive relative to other shows.

If you buy at least $100 of anime Blu-Rays in a month, Crunchyroll Ultimate or whatever is worth it for the 15% discount that month, but its not like it will save you a ton, it just pays for itself if you buy $100 worth of anime.

Anime is pretty fucking expensive dude. You have to watch like one anime every 3 months to break even in Crunchyroll. It only makes sense to buy Blu-rays if you watch less than that.

Yeah. I think the only FF games I've played that feel more Eastern-inspired are FF10 and parts of FF14's Stormblood expansion. Everything else is more European -- medieval knights and dragons and whatnot -- or a general "modern" vibe than anything.

The themes and ideas or ideologies in the stories themselves are more Eastern than Western, but that's about it.

Famous Western medieval inspiration like spaceships, moon elves, giant Mecha, gun swords, high school politics, literal Journey to the West, and the church is always evil and never ever ever a good thing.
