It's a serial code you receive now, not a wireless signal anymore. GameStop has been really stingy in recent years to people who want codes. They only give you 1 code, 2 at maximum. Very hard to farm GameStop codes.

Paranoia Agent was one of the worst anime I have ever watched. Wish I could forget I ever watched it.

I love this site and collection. Myself, I've been collecting a lot of Japanese Pokemon magazines from the gen 3/4 era, the Pokemon Scoop magazines. It's crazy how much information is lost either to time or because it's in a different language.

When chips say 2 for $7 and you only get 1 and it ends up being $3.50 anyway

Its not based on how many cards you have left, you need their new trade currency. To trade 1 star cards you have to trash 4 4-diamond cards or higher. So we may need to wait to see if they ever give out trade currency with a future event.

Spicy, thanks! I just got enough currency for 1 star again, I'm not sure if you can do multiple trades at once but I'll let you know when I can trade.

For self-claimed events, I would say a Jump Festa Gyarados in SV that I claimed in my CHT save file. It's still uncloned. I also claimed one in my JP save file because I wanted a specific OT name. The special part about this Gyarados is that there were only 3000 serial codes given for it over 2 days at an onsite location in Japan for Jump Festa. The serial codes were going for $120 on Reddit, but I found offers on Yahoo Auctions for $50.

For traded events, I have quite a few events that I've gotten from people and I've verified legitimacy and some people have provided proof, like PCNY Pokemon, GTS events distributed by the Pokemon Daisuki Club in Japan, Pokepark Taiwan Jirachi. Events are my specialty because I don't only collect events, but I research the distributions too.

For self-claimed shinies, probably the PoGo Shiny Mew I transferred to my CHS Home account. I have the Masterwork Research for I think 1 more Shiny Mew and 3 Shiny Jirachi but I've never been able to finish them yet. I posted this in another topic too, but I also have Shiny Shaymin from the BDSP Oak's Letter distribution, level 2 Shiny Articuno and level 1 Shiny Suicune. Plus level 1 Latias/Latios and level 1 Uxie/Mesprit/Azelf. Thanks to PoGo, low level shiny legends are really nice.

They're doing experience events for the Switch 2 in April, just like how they did with the Switch. I went to the NY Switch Experience event back in January 2017 thanks to @Manocheese and I liked what I saw. We got a tote bag filled with small items like pins and a Switch-themed cookie. We got to play demos of each launch title like 1, 2, Switch and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. You could take a +1 with you with the ticket so I took my brother to that experience event. It was 2 hours to get a hands on experience with the Switch so I definitely recommend going to this.

I still didn't get my Switch on release, but it helped influence my decision to get it for my birthday a few months later.

I don't use it either. But one of my email addresses is one that kids seemed to have use a lot over the years to sign up for services and get locked out of their accounts. They used my email address to sign up for a TikTok, so I logged into it to check it out. Ended up not being interested in TikTok and deleting the app which I already knew I wouldn't be interested in it.

Story of my life

School has always started at 8 am and ended at 3 pm. In high school, the 8 am class was called E period, short for early period, so if you were lucky and didn't have an E period class you start school at 8:45. My town was small so no one used buses unless they went to a county based school instead of the regular town high school. I lived 2 blocks away from my high school so I just walked up and down my street every day.

Actually it's just over 14 years since I became a furry. January 2011. Being a furry eased my way to liking MLP and being a brony. I don't care for fursonas or cosplaying but I would like to go to furry conventions. I have a lot of furry friends, I'm envious of one who goes to Anthrocon quite a few times. He's the type to cosplay as a furry. When we went to watch Zootopia together on release, he brought his furry tail to the theater.

Yes, a Pikachu caught in SV is a gen 9 Pokemon. Region marks started with XY, the Pikachu will have a Paldea region mark. You can't trade it to RBY.

You understand that when FL81 said "Gen 4", they were talking about how Shining Pearl is a remake of Diamond and Pearl. By no means were they suggesting a remake of a game was created in the literal same generation of the original.

You are intelligent enough to understand that, if you have the ability to read.

Because the two points he made are more indicative of gen 8 than gen 4. Which is what BDSP is, gen 8. Late gen 4 (Platinum, HGSS) are widely considered great games, not something you would have to think about playing even if you get the games for free.

Question for you too, tell me how you can trade from Shining Pearl to HeartGold. The point is BDSP is not gen 4 unless you can tell me how it is gen 4.

Is this latest set really that big? I've worked at Target through the earlier Pokemon craze where people were literally drawing weapons on eachother and literally no one buys cards anymore. The shelves are always full.

Covid made Pokemon card collecting a job. The cards look pretty, a lot of chase cards go for high prices and unopened packs/boxes are a commodity. Graded cards too, those are overpriced. Before 2020 the cards weren't really sought after.

I don't use it myself anymore but I don't care if anyone else uses it. Back around 2015 or 2016ish I was hanging out with groups of friends who wouldn't use the word but I made a friend in 2017 who used it and it felt like a breath of fresh air. Like it takes me back to a place where you don't have to step on eggshells with every word you say, you don't get flamed for sentences where people take things out of context. Basically a different atmosphere than safe spaces and it feels good from time to time.
