What is the longest time between losing a final and winning one (i feel like there are a decent number of people who have taken that path)?

Anyway, my plan is to support Delita next year. He is in my top 5 and I dont give him enough attention in these contests.

I'm glad I listened to Warbreaker before this because I didn't realize how much the two stories cross over!

I might need to get Tress of the Emerald Sea soon because I'm guessing it'll be important to the next wave of Cosmere books.

Warbreaker is definitely good to do before Stormlight.

For Tress, there are a couple things that will definitely have an impact on the larger story. It's set after Stormlight Arc 1 though so no rush.

Nah, it's policy designed to bring profits to tax prep companies and create loopholes and rules that help lower the taxes of the wealthy.

Yup I love the cubs too. That's probably why I don't care about the actual results too much either. At least none of the characters in the final are bad.

Yeah losing to two main characters from two of the most popular FF games definitely softens the blow for me.

The benefit of growing up a Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes fan is that I'm used to not cheering for winners (or even people in the championship game).

I can enjoy a third place finish without feeling disappointed.

I've gotten a few wins in this contest; Ramza, Tidus, and Barret. I'm not sure i was pushing any of them the year they won (at least until the end) but I still got to enjoy it lol.

I had fun getting to support Kimahri for the first stretch of the contest and Seymour for the back end. Overall I consider this a successful year and got what I wanted for both.

Thanks to charon for being my motivation for this push and to everyone that helped make him a real contender this year. Strong right to the semi finals and even then just a couple votes from getting through. And this was a tough final 3 as well imo. Good job everyone.

Looking to the final, Sabin was the first character I mained in SMFFFC ages ago. I don't like him as much as I used to (or really i just like other people a lot more) but it will still be fun to save him and cheer him in the final.

Someone replied that Trump is probably confused because abuse of exclusivity is how he had previously arranged for his buddies at the National Enquirer to kill unfavorable stories on his behalf. NE would pay for the "exclusive" rights to a story and then elect not to run it.

So his primary experience with that word as it relates to journalism is when it is wielded as a weapon to prevent stories from being released.

It's so sad that this might really be the explanation

Main character stays super weak? Hell yeah
Gags where people think MC is brilliant when he has no idea what is going on or gets lucky? That's the only reason I watch Overlord at this point. And this show does it so well since the MC does accidentally help people get stronger

Please tell me there are more seasons of this coming. I need to meet the big Paladin guy and spend time with the sister and crazy swordsman.

I actually like playing some level of neutral. I hate when games punish you for that.

I loved the 5th book and how it ended things.

Finished with Stormlight Archive Book 4 Part 2. I was curious to see what they were going to do with Kaladin after Part 1, but this should be interesting.

Also I have a feeling we're building up to this Contest of Champions being a battle between Kaladin and Moash.

That seems like the real example for Cuomo doing the primary as a Dem, running as an independent, then going back to being a Dem if he wants.

Now that the fanfic wars are over, I do want to thank jc and Leon for all the extra silliness. I feel half the fun of this is stuff like that and I always looked forward to the latest installments in both. Thanks for all the work, gents.
