There are a ton of other veggies that americans dont eat that i dont prefer. In Japan, we eat a lot of this brown root thing that im not fond of.

Its one of the better ones. Its fast and snappy, it doesnt hold your hand too much, you can go about things however you want.

the story is there and it has just enough to push you along, but it isnt special or too interesting. The characters are all cliches, but the do it in a good way. You can actually befriend most characters and take them into battles with you.

the battle system is simple, but it has a lot of options and a lot of different weapons are viable. Nothing is useless. Most hard battles go into cheesing, but it doesnt have to.

its probably the best story of seasons game. Good marriage partners, decent farming, good gameplay s of ways to play it and they are all useful.

only weak point is a story that never gets as deep as you think it will be, and sometimes the combat gets repetitive.

If this is Pixel Remaster, dont feel bad about turning off random encounters. Some of these dungeons are stupid, and the world map is pretty annoying too.

yeah it's pretty depressing tbh.

especially when you consider that we are probably in a similar situation. we have no way of knowing what's beyond the cosmic horizon as we currently can perceive it. maybe whole entire other universes or something used to be detectable earlier in our universe's existence, but they've since moved too far away and now we have no way of seeing them or even knowing they exist.

So ive played all the main series games. Beat all if them except for 1 (it was a rental back when it was new, and i never finished it, 100%d 2, finished 3.

4 didnt impress me at first. I thought the dog was a gimmick, and the fact that there were more characters lost the isolated feel of the first 3. Well, I was wrong. Saving people is really fun, and they all either give you more options, or sidequests to earn points for useful upgrades. The dog is so good. Not only does he act as a second character, but he is also a really complex Pikmin in and of itself. Using him to gather pikmin together is nice, but you also lose the ability to attack at once in that form. Yeah, he can gather objects quicker, but you also lose an ally if you run into trouble, while hes working. Nice risk reward. Plus, hes really cute. Id love if they added animals with other abilities in a sequel, like a cat who can climb, and things like that.

Its a bit easier, but it picks up after a fakeout ending. There is still a ton to do, a new game mode similar to Pikmin 1, and harder Dandori stuff. I thought i was done with the game, and felt satisfied, but i was so happy to see that there was more.

This game actually revitalized my love for the series, and made me want to go and buy the rereleases so i can have them all on one console.

And hoe stly, i think Pikmin is the one series that Nintendo really always nails. Every game is so fleshed out and well- polished, so fully realized, and filled with so much passion. Every game adds on the last, refines things, and somehow adds surprising twists.

I have maybe two friends who use it.

Ive never seen them, but they look like they were made for a new generation. The first movie wasnt full of action and had a lot of science stuff. Maybe its too slow for kids now.

Then again, the movies after the first were all dumb action movies compared to the first.

A lot of people here in Japan look for foreigners as pets to show off in front of their friends. Especially if you are from the UK or the US. They are like reverse weebs. But they have an image of westerners from movies, like The Rock or Bruce Willis (for some reason, he is a big one). Kind of like how weebs get upset if a Japanese girl isnt thin and submissive. There are a TON of shallow people here, just like anywhere else. But status culture is big here. Not everyone of course, but now you get to experience being exotic and not Japanese.

I dont know what you are looking for exactly, but she sounds kind of shallow if thats what ended things.

The remaster has a better sphere grid that isnt linear for most of the game. Right from the start, you can make characters any class you want. Much better.

I went to Kyoto for one day. Ate at some restaurant there that was not busy at all. Didn't have any issues at that specific place. Was the only place I also found in my whole stay in Japan that I found Ginkgo nuts on the menu, to which I ordered and tried. Pretty good.

But I know Kyoto in general has been getting less open with foreigners lately.... and somewhat understandably with the Johnny Somali and old Logan Paul shit. Me, I was absolutely respectful in every inch of the word that I could be when I was there. I was around Ninenzaka and even saw some Geishas there. It was months later that they said Geishas were going to be closed away from foreigners or something because of misconduct on them and it's like ".....you people can afford to fly way the Hell out here, and you are going to handsy with people here? For fuck sakes"

.... I'd love to go to Kyoto again some day. I loved my day there. I even have a really awesome picture of couples just sprawled out along a river sitting together that I thought was cute. The atmosphere was lovely, the buildings were nice, I loved it a lot. But the more I hear about how it is closing off more and more, it saddens me.

Foreigners are often very rude and disrespectful here. They look at this place like a playground, or weeb heaven, and dont realize there are people who are worried that these loud, rude, reckless people might ruin their peace.

Am I the only one who is completely uninterested in the plot with Homelander's son? Like it was okay at first as basically an excuse for the supes and the Boys to clash, but that entire plotline does nothing for me.

Honestly every plotline besides Homelander seems almost sitcom-level to me. Main characters all have plot armor, it seems, we get that they are all messed up, we get that dude has dad issues, we get that. None of that is as interesting as the guy with unlimited power losing his mind.

I make my own pizza and it's cheap as f***. Lots of grocery stores have fresh pizza dough you can buy. Not only that but you can pinch off smaller balls and make personal pizza pies instead of making one big one.

I don't disagree that it wasn't that great of a plotline, but Pam was not at all at fault in it.

I dont think Pam was a villain or anything, i just think the plot was stupid, and i dont believe Jim would have ever done that without telling Pam. The ONLY time we see Jim surprising Pam is when he buys her a house, and that was because it was a surprise gift. Jim never did anything selfish like that towards her in any other episode. He actually turned over a few promotions and other things just for her.
