All they had to do was tell the mods to ban the likes of Vegy, Neon, Rial, Calwing, and the rest of the 'Would' squad for disruptive posting. At the end of the day Fandom wants nothing but game related discussion. Timmy's post was unequivocal in this regard. Taking that into account, they most likely killed CE because CE is the largest source of non-gaming discussion here. Hornypost just gave them a convenient excuse. I'd love to be proven wrong here, but Fandom is a known internet entity. It's the final destination where communities go to die. |

It didn't work because honestly, it was too late. Shortly afterwards they shutdown the feature and migrated to youtube. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/11-team-gamefaqs/69090147 We've also decided to part ways with GameFAQs Video as well. The program didn't gain the traction that it needed so we started going in a different direction in terms of video on GameFAQs. We're working on increasing the integration of YouTube links on GameFAQs rather than rebuilding the wheel. All current videos that we're hosting will still be hosted indefinitely, but we won't be supporting any new videos. Instead, you can simply create a YT account, upload your videos there, and then link to them on GameFAQs. |

The imposing brick wall in the background clearly represents both progress and obstacle; paying homage to the original brick wall from Super Mario Bros in a subtle but thought provoking way. The gun has a slick but calm design, appealing to every gamer in us without glorifying violence. It screams 'peace' instead of 'I'm gonna mow everybody down hurr durr rawrrr!' unlike all those nasty M-rated videogame guns that are not suitable for GameFAQs' 13 years old users. Last but not least, how could we miss the eye-catching floating white feathers, drawing contrast to the word "BLACK"? Every element here really comes together to convey the heart and soul of this game to us, not unlike watching the beautiful Seine River in the Summer of '93. Totally recommended boxart. 9.5/10, would review another boxart again! RATING: 9.5/10 Recommend this Review? [YES] [NO] |
