I wouldnt consider that political unless theyre teaching people the poor or disadvantaged deserve their lot and shouldn't be helped.Which is what the typical Republican mindset is. Rypien replaced an injured or struggling starter, right? I can't remember.Doug Williams was injured and getting old, so Rypien was named starter in 1989. Washington went 10-6, and missed the playoffs. 1990, again went 10-6 but this time made the playoffs (lost to 49ers in Divisional Round 28-10). 1991, they went 14-2 (including winning first 11 in a row), and won the Super Bowl. 1992, they went 9-7, won the wild card round and lost again to 49ers in the Divisional Round. --- Insert some witty line here |

(First I had to turn around and back track and take the long way around to get home because the intersection on my normal route was blocked, and the second was just the other day at another intersection closer to home. I had to turn onto a side street and then cut across the Publix parking lot to get around the accident).
