To a certain extent that will happen by osmosis. I think where it crosses the line is where you specifically try to isolate your children and hide them from other world views.

"You can't attend church with your friend, they're the wrong denomination"
"Turn off that CNN crap, we're a Fox News household"

and the like.

Especially church. Believing in fictional characters is okay when you're a kid. Believing in them when you're an adult is something else, IMO.

I wouldnt consider that political unless theyre teaching people the poor or disadvantaged deserve their lot and shouldnt be helped.

Which is what the typical Republican mindset is. Fake Christians is the term for them. Claim to worship Jesus, yet follow none of his teachings (feed the hungry, help the poor, welcome the foreigner, etc)

Depends on the intent and goal.

If your intent is to bring them in line with cultural values (ie Americans and Freedom) so they can better mold into their community, then I wouldn't call it the worst thing. Now obviously that can be manipulated to get them to believe in and justify horrific things, but that's different than just trying to have them fit into the community.

If your goal is to have a puppet mouthpiece to further increase political control and especially with the intent of subjugating others then that's different and bad pretty regardless of the beliefs.
