Game looks interesting, but I don't do gatcha.

It's possible I've just with surgical precision ended up with the worst of the worst but ain't nobody got time to do several hours a day of "dailies," especially when they include PvP bullshit (especially-ecially since said PvP bullshit has the worst matchmaking in the world to encourage you to whale) or spend weeks on one level because they capped your daily grinding, or put up with literal 1 in 2000 chance drops for stuff, or have to hit the events before they end, or etc etc etc.

I'll check it out if they do the Capcom thing and rerelease it as a single purchase where you can unlock everything the traditional way.
The dailies on this take half an hour, if you don't care about story. It's do a career(one of the girls story mode), do a PvP race(automated with no input, essentially just a stat check between characters with a touch of RNG), do you daily races(skippable), done. That's about the extent of what I do each day, unless I have a long break/nothing to do at work.

You can also get everything without gacha but that takes a decent time investment and some lock(PvP races open a temporary shop where you can buy unlock pieces with money you make from career/dailies).

I used to play a lot of gachas when I was younger and so far this one has been the easiest to play free. I guess if you -really- care about PvP it could get expensive, but that's about it.

The MCU Avengers, considering we were planet busting in the Saiyan Saga with Vegeta, probably get folded by Zarbon/Dodoria(if we count them as henchmen, the regular dudes get fodderized as is their job I'd wager) with moderate difficulty, or the Ginyu Force pretty easily(especially with Guldo, Strange is the only one who really has hope there). Frieza in final form especially would probably casually obliterate them.

I dunno tho, there wouldnt there be an endgame after this if the ai is used to get good at yappin away. Like ai users may hold conversations better with the wit/humor/interests developed from the conversational ai tool?
I've found the opposite to be true. Most of the time I run in to people using AI for conversational purposes they seem to actually be worse at conversation after the fact, or reliant on the AI to hold it.

Maybe they'll be better at it when it's a whole generation of people beholden to AI though, if everyone is the same the AI training should function better.

It's not for everyone. I'm kind of a Star Trek nerd anyway. I brought it up because there is a misconception that all chat bots are boring "one on one" experiences where the AI tries to just do what you want. There are other types of AI experiences out there, ones that juggle multiple characters, try to trick you, remember things, etc... some are like playing a text based RPG.
Yes but there's no craftsmanship behind it or intended narrative. It sounds like it's just power fantasy every time I hear someone speak of it, it's just whatever you want and little else. That just doesn't interest me. You could train it to do something else, but I could also just do it myself quicker.

You need to get out more, the good AI chatbots are expensive and the free ones kind of suck and just give short responses with no memory.

It was fun for a while and I think I brought it up in another AI topic, but I was recently messing around with a Star Trek TNG scenario where you are a new Ensign straight out of the academy. You could do anything. I hung out in Ten Forward talking philosophy with Guninan, helped Captain Picard diffuse a diplomatic crisis, etc... Oh and of course banged alien crew members. I even did boring things like help Data configure the sensor array. It was basically a game.
Why would I care to do that? It sounds kinda sad, honestly. If I wanted to make a story I would just make one myself, but I write as a hobby.

Dunno, I've never watched a show and wished I could actually speak to the characters. Something about that doesn't seem right. This also sounds like the exact opposite of "getting out."

Granted I have literally never used any form of social media outside of this site, niche forums, and YouTube which I never log in to, but it has always struck me as dumb as a rock. Tried to speak with it a few times but it's so much more functional if I just bark orders at it to do things.

Also don't get why people like conversing with something that is 100% compliant and "perfect for you." Shit is so boring when all a conversation is trying to figure out how to please someone.
