Will_VIIII, Thread Zone mod, will also chase you down in other Discord servers to try to get you banned for things you didn't even do. And the Thread Zone / LUELinks / blue websight site mods have on multiple times gotten users moderated and/or banned on places like Reddit out of spite.

Thread Zone as a website is a work of art. But the mod crew there is even more psychotic than anything you've ever seen in GFAQs. I just want you guys to be aware, that once you integrate with Thread Zone, you're signing away your soul to their mods who have spent years trying to police people off-site. These are the same mods who tried to set up a fake "honey pot" discord server to get people banned.

They aren't giving you a life line, they're trying to tie a rope around your neck.

It's because they want to corral you, and convince you to use the community they bestowed upon you, instead of letting you get the idea that you can make your own

None of the people suggesting thread zone even post on it themselves, they all post on Discord

Here is the real solution you guys are looking for:

Multiple Discord servers.

There's already two. One seems more legit than the other. But you might as well just join them all and stick with which ever you like best.

Weavile keeps talking about Thread Zone and "being similar to GameFAQs" because he's still pushing the failed concept of having a single monolithic location for all users, with a single strict set of rules forced on all users.

Time has shown that it just doesn't work. The solution is to have multiple platforms. Multiple servers. Some servers can be more strict and heavily moderated than others. Some can be exclusive and some private. And users can make and share them at will.

Despite the LUELinks mods' perpetual meltys over it, it's been proven to work and it's been wildly successful for the community. By letting users self-segregate into different servers, the users who want a chill zone can stick to the more heavily moderated servers, and the users who want more freedom can migrate to less moderated servers. In this way you get a safer environment for cray users and a better environment for chill users.

Thread Zone is a good idea but it will never succeed because it's still founded on the idea that all users must fit into one code of conduct, one set of rules , and because all zones still have the umbilical cord back to Tiko and whatever he decides to tolerate or not tolerate or whoever he delegates to.

CE has the opportunity to shape itself the way it's users see fit, and to build their own spaces and set their own boundaries. It's time to grow up from begging "mods" to give you permission to post on their forum. Build the community you want to have for yourselves.

Idk about LUE but iirc LUElinks only ever had about 20,000 og users

It's run by the LUELinks mod crew and their orbiters who just got off a weeks long ban spree against Discord users. Even going as far as to try setting up fake discord servers to entrap and ban their own users for posting on discord without permission. Yes you read that right, they will ban you for using discord without the mod's permission.

Feel free to join but you should be aware that the mod crew that destroyed LUELinks / ETI / blue websight is the same one running Thread Zone. Looking for more users to try to control and harass. It's a shame too because the site itself is cool but the mods are all power hungry and bloodthirsty.

Your best bet is Discord. Where you can make your own server and have far greater autonomy.

if you value your freedom then adapt to Discord.

for reference, the reason that the LUELinks mods are now in here trying to recruit CE members, is because they have been engaging on endless ban sprees for some years now, and have chased off all their own legacy members. Meanwhile, members have banded together to create a bunch of cool and unique discord servers to have out in. LUElinks is left with mostly just a small handful of sycophants and orbiters now, and a handful of users too scared to lose their 20 year old accounts to speak up.

Yes they loathe Discord so much that they tried to create a "fake" Discord server in order to entrap and ban their own members to keep them from talking to each other off-site. Despite the fact that the mods themselves post on their own private discord servers all the time scheming up ways to attack off-site users

Yeah this is what you're walking into with Thread Zone. They just want to add more peons who they can Lord over and be your gods to try to foster dependence on their private system.

Do yourselves a favor, go join a couple discord servers, make your own, add each other to Friends lists, set up a hub server, and keep in touch with your selves on your own. Outside the reaches of these "mods". Take ownership of your community. 20 years of LUE, and LUElinks, have proven that you can't trust the Almighty Mods to manage and administer your community for you. Take the power for yourselves and build the community you want.
