No, everything being identical is bad for gaming. Nothing takes advantage of anything unique anymore and the gaming industry is worse for it.

The only thing unique about any of the three consoles right now is the Switch being portable (and underpowered)

It was option 1 in this case. Literally nothing we could do. We had a Summoner and I told him on 3 different attempts to raise the healer but that advice didn't take until the 4th.

Then they both died shortly after that anyway.
