The story isn't really that slow outside of ARR. Just don't do the absolute garbage sidequests. They're not worth it for entertainment purposes or for in game reward purposes.

The neat part about Lethal mode is that you can kill enemies in like 2 or 3 hits tops, only thing is, they can do it to you too. If you're good at the game you could sweep through swathes of men.

this is how hard modes for games should be, none of this bullet spongy take 2 minutes to kill an enemy shit while you die in 2 hits

I would way rather have gone to Meracydia or the Thirteenth/World of Darkness for an expansion because this seems just TOO low stakes and fillery on the surface. Sure it'll still be good, just a giant change in pace and tone from what we've seen

I had started and stopped it on episode 2 twice but this past weekend I went through all of what's on Netflix

It's become one of my favorite anime even though it's not done yet, same thing happened with Frieren. Also a great dub, I thought Emily Rudd (Marcille's VA) started out rough in the first episode but it's actually kinda perfect for that character

Also ordered the artbook for it today

I also didn't love Marcille's voice at first but now I think she's great.
