Game-wise it's much more of an actually-using-a-camera sim than other photography games like Pokemon Snap, Toem, etc. Yeah, that was one of my dislikes about the game, as I don't have a lot of interest in that aspect. Doing 315, I got the 1st rep, then on the 2nd my right hand (the underhand one) couldn't hold out after I got above my knees. Was hoping for 3 reps but only got 1... I tried to regroup and go again but I was mentally done for heavy sets. Did get a nice 13@225 afterwards to somewhat make up for it.
I've always done left hand over, right hand under for the heaviest set, as that's what felt the most natural. But I might have to revisit. (And yes, I do switch it up each set to avoid imbalances.) I've also been doing these deadlift rows on deadlift day too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpn-SVawj9w ....obviously with a lot less weight than that beast. I'd say to grab the electric upgrades for the weapons ASAP. There's also a seemingly crucial upgrade that allows you to use energy to heal. The better news is that I woke up feeling fine this morning. General lower back maybe a little sorer than usual after squat/leg day but not too bad overall. The best news is that the light week for OHP/arms did seem to help, as I was feeling very fresh today. Managed to put up 147.5 on OHP for, I think, the first time ever. I've been focusing on using the zapper, since it seems pretty OP. It's a pretty dumb, fun game so far, though definitely in a "7 out of 10" kind of way. I agree with the mid 00s vibes. It feels like a throwback in the same way the Maximo games felt like throwbacks in their time. The cooldowns seem to be time based. ...And maybe they go faster if you use melee attacks? Goal differential still favors Arsenal. I have a hard time seeing City making up that 6 goal advantage, so they really need to win all 3 of their remaining games. City: 5/11 (Saturday) 7:30am - @ Fulham 5/14 (Tuesday) 3:00pm - @ Tottenham 5/19 (Sunday) 11:00am - West Ham Arsenal: 5/12 (Sunday) 11:30am - @ Man United 5/19 (Sunday) 11:00am - Everton City get the first game of next weekend, and certainly have the easier run in of the two away games. City then have their make-up game midweek, with a tough match with a Tottenham team that will be fighting hard to retain their European position. And then the final week games that you'd expect both to win handily. | Seanchan 04/30/24 9:07:42 AM #169 | My big issue was that, when I started lifting (squats in particular) I was doing it on a smith machine because that's what I had access to. I'd occasionally have knee pain, which is understandable considering the fixed movement of a smith. Once I had access to a real squat rack there was no going back. But even back then (10+ years) ago, I remember people commenting to me about all the noise from my cracking knees when I did squats or deads.
