"I once looked thru his telescope in his Trump Tower apt. that looked downtown. He said, "I saw the towers come down thru that telescope." I lifted my head up. "Oh my god," I gasped.

Doesn't it entirely depend on the caliber, type of weapon? Sniper rifles are better for range since the bullet is designed specifically to fly straight with minimal drag for example

Yes, but we're not talking about that kind of range here.

The examples I'm providing are for standard 5.56mm service rifles (or equivalent) using bog standard NATO ball ammo.

Really don't need specialised weapons or ammo at short ranges like this.

(I understand, almost all videogames drastically shorten weapon ranges, to keep things close and exciting. Reality is somewhat different. )

that's farther than a football field end zone to end zone. Its definitely not as easy as you make it seem

You'd be surprised how easy it is.

I read 130m, but even 200 is easy from prone. No bullet drop to calculate at that range BTW, a small wind correction (assuming there was any), at 100m you wouldn't even bother about that.

The elevation might be a factor (don't have experience there), might explain why the shot was high, rather than impacting centre of mass (ordinary error also entirely possible).

Shot was from 130 metres, that's really not far.

I have no idea who the shooter was, or what military training if any they might have had, but the idea that this is a long shot is just wrong.

From prone position, shooting at a still, man sized target at that range with a military rifle is basically a guaranteed hit. Even with iron sights, and minimal training/practice.

The reality is that that the far right is very much on the rise throughout the world.

There are very real issues affecting the working classes of many nations, and ignoring the real causes (especially if they are funding you), and deflecting public anger onto ethnic or religious groups less able to defend themselves is a traditional (and regrettably effective) tactic.

It's odd really, they've spent years convincing MAGA that the files will hold the secrets to Hilary's pizza basement (or whatever that week's fantasy was), and never stopped to think about the many years Epstein and his buddy spent gadding about town together.

I don't doubt that there are many powerful men complicit in Epstein's crimes from all sides of the political spectrum, but I'm not expecting to see publication.

Too much to lose on all sides I'm afraid (and yes, it doesn't speak highly of MAGA intelligence that they failed to realise their own exposure before making promises).

The trick is to not compile it.

Then you haven't lied about a "list".

Semantics like that used to be how politicians lied (admittedly not so much in the Trump era).

A good example of an old school political lie would be, "I have seen no evidence of that".

Always note the language used, not seeing it is essentially meaningless, and is a standard easily met by making sure your officials don't show you said evidence.

Is there "a list" probably not.

Is there considerable information about rich and powerful individuals, many of whom likely had contact with Epstein's slaves, both in and out of his facilities? Almost certainly.

Much of that would be diplomatically inconvenient should it be revealed (but useful as influence if they know you know).

Plus of course there's this guy, name escapes me. Big mates with Epstein, hung out with him a lot, lots of photos of them together, admits to walking into teenaged girls changing rooms unannounced.

Maybe I'll remember the name later, I'm sure it's nothing.

Tbh it's been a while since I looked at the topic, so the following is potentially suspect, but I'll see what I remember.

It appears that El's consort was indeed worshipped alongside the combined El/Yahweh for sometime, particularly in the wealthier more sophisticated North.
Nb El also retained his Golden Calf iconography for longer in this area.

Some scholars feel that conquest by the Babylonians and subsequent exile helped the hardline monotheists of the South into the ascendancy. Bit beyond my level to make that kind of judgement though.
