Personally I would highly advise against Kafka if you're gonna skip Hysliens and if you don't have Black Swan. She is now basically an amplifier for those two that steals their dps for herself. DOT is a package deal now.

I've invested so much in dot that Hysliens is mandatory for me but it's Cerydra that's fucking everything up. I could wait for her to rerun but getting Hyacine for Castorice has been the best pulling decision I've made in this game so I've learned my lesson about skipping tailor-made supports...

I don't think I'll have enough jades to get both her and Cyrene unless I get pretty lucky. Man.

Phainon teams also eat SP like crazy (and me having just pulled Sunday's LC lol). Could also be useful for dot though less so now that Hysliens has natural SP recovery. Really it's about time we got an option like this.

Also a dedicated set for RMC is nice, all but confirms Cyrene will be RMC pro max too if they share the same set.

I am getting so many double crit arcadia planars on HP%/Ice and I'm not even planning to pull you-know-who. Jack shit for Phainon. The desire sensor is being extraordinarily cruel to me.

Yeah there's 6 difficulties for it in Genshin. Gem rewards stop at 3. 4 and 5 give artifact materials. I maxed out at 4. 5 is doable F2P if you're really good and have the characters and builds. 6 is for cosmetics and bragging rights and the one even whales struggle with but there are some lower cost clears around.

That said, Genshin and HSR's design philosophies differ in that Genshin strongly encourages horizontal investment (and specific units) and HSR encourages vertical, so we'll see how it goes.

Ahaha new endgame mode leaked and it sounds like it's the equivalent of Genshin's Stygian Onslaught (ultra hard whale content for mainly cosmetic rewards).

Orphie is an off-fielder and the rumor is that Seed is as well. So SAnby's spot is very secure. You run her, one of Magus/SEED, and one of Trigger/Astra. You could potentially also go Orphie/Seed if you want but it if they're designated off-fielders that could be a little awkward like how Vivian/Burnice is. I think triple attacker is not yet viable because of core passives, maybe they'll change that though.

Yeah some combination of these characters is going to be the "best" but this kind of modular teambuilding approach is a good thing, part of why Anomaly teams have been so strong is that you can mix and match main + sub dps for the best possible matchups

Seed seems to also be Aftershock focus. This whole faction is a skip for me because I missed on SAnby and didnt get Trigger. Ah well.

I think the main reason people are upset is that pulling her at E1 or E0S1 is worse than just getting E2 Phainon. Which is true, but Phainon's E2 is literally the most busted eidolon in the entire game so idk what the expectation is anymore.

This is true, one complaint I have seen is that because you only see his complete fumble with Lois early on, the movie makes it seem like Clark is legitimately terrible at being a journalist. Which shouldn't be the case! I don't think thats how its meant to come across either, we just simply don't see enough.

Orphie's kit leans towards 2 DPS setups so that depends on if Seed is also an Attack unit. But who knows, Seed could be an Aftershock Support at this rate.

Based on this and the kit leaks, it looks like Orphie is meant to spend sometime off field and being swapped off of for another DPS after certain attacks. One of the parts of her kit says she'll auto spend energy to launch her EX Special if she's off field when another character does theirs.

Her additional ability also has a teamwide attack buff. She seems like she is a dedicated sub-dps for SAnby who ALSO has a team buff for Aftershocks, along with Trigger. And then as a bonus she works with S11 too.

Seems like it's gonna be an easy pass for me since I don't have those characters. Plus I'm generally not a fan of Orphie's personality type, although it is REALLY funny her animations are basically you're really controlling Magus and Orphie is dragged along.

Important context for this image: my Astra is M1. I cannot believe people were trying to say Yuzuha would be worse than Astra for Miyabi.

She's doing a little worse (2-3k) than Astra for Piper/Burnice vs Pompey but it's really, really hard to play Piper against that asshole and M1 Astra has the shield so I'm convinced it's my skill issue

Yanagi/Vivian is like a Miyabi level team, probably even more so with Yuzuha now. Matching both weaknesses does not matter

And yeah Vivian was very popular AFAIK, like not Miyabi or even Astra/Evelyn level but not exactly a Lighter/Hugo/Jufufu situation either

I don't think there was any point where it made sense to insert a dungeon so I'm ok with it. The pacing is pretty excellent this patch.

It doesn't feel like a direct response to the complaints like 3.3 at least. That had three Evernight maps that went almost entirely unused? If anything they could have put more Evernight Okhema stuff at the start of this patch, I suppose. But in 3.3 that was mostly ok for the climax of the story. The part I actually thought was weird is that you only have to do like 20% of the dungeon you do go through. Just a ton of puzzles completely off the main path.

I enjoyed the movie.

But endings for super hero fights continue to be tough. Not a big fan of everything after Krypto was called in. Felt like we really had to force that.

Eh, at face value Superman gets his ass beat until he calls in a dog to save the day feels like an asspull but I think it's actually really good Supes characterization. Like I don't think this is something he just remembered he could do, I think he was actively avoiding doing it until that moment. He's never actively trying to kill anyone during the fight and up until that moment he's still been trying to get through to Ultraman and hold a conversation with Lex so it does feel like he was just sandbagging and didn't want to risk Krypto getting involved and hurt again until there wasn't anything left.

The only thing is that they didn't really sell it on a visual level, like plot-wise it's a good tone and no issues there but if it's supposed to look cool it just doesn't lol

Krypto is great but I was unprepared for how much of the movie almost revolved around the dog? To me it felt like every scene with a dog joke lasted just slightly too long in a comedic timing sense. But maybe this is just me being a cat person.

Yeah, I'd have been fine with something like that, too. Just let him show off what makes him Superman a little more. I get that they wanted to portray a more "vulnerable" Superman, but it feels like he spends 80% of the movie just getting beat up.

At this point getting the shit kicked out of him by overpowered threats but refusing to ever actually die is as integral to Supes's character as much as the invincible Man of Steel stuff is. It's probably a decision that was made specifically in response to the common anti-fan complaint that he's "overpowered and boring" which couldn't be more wrong but whatever. That said, I think opening the movie in media res with "Superman has just lost a fight for the first time in his life" is a MUCH stronger intro than scene setting and easing into the stakes and more than makes up for it.

Trusting the audience to just know all that shit already is the greatest decision in the entire movie

I cannot afford any more skins, I'm still upset I had to skip Yixuan's

But given the last few patches I wouldn't make any pulling decision based on skins because it seems like Hoyo might ACTUALLY do frequent releases for once

edit: Actually there is one skin they could release that would impact my pulling decisions. Mihoyo: I will pull SAnby if you release an outfit for her that's just her original A-rank design.

I haven't played around with her outside of the tutorial yet but iirc it's important that she hit parries to get her Aftershock stacks. She even has a manual parry she can activate on field with her hold basic, and both parries can chain directly into her EX. So she already has tech.

Yeah and people really underestimate his buffs because he's an A-rank. Yuzuha releasing is a big deal because she's a second buffer on the level of Astra. Well, Astra #2 already existed for Yixuan, his name is Pan Yinhu.

Oh well Miyabi is dragging you down there. She has zero synergy with Yixuan and Miasma Priest is specifically designed to counter Miyabi and anomaly teams more generally. You're better off using panda to buff Yixuan to the moon. I've done high intensity with Miyabi, but she's very reliant on her Anomaly buddy to back her up, Vivian/Astra is the hard carry.

I keep losing Hollow Zero runs because of the boss timer on intensity 4. Just couldn't beat the final boss last time after a bunch of tries, barely. :/

What teams do you use and what builds do you go for? Cause I can tell you, I beat Intensity 15 last week with Yixuan and the trial Jufufu, and straight up I think anything that isn't an ult-spam build just isn't worth the time to attempt. They've really squished any diversity out of the game mode.
