I also remember any time fighting Demise was a giant pain in the ass with the motion controls for the combat. I woulda thought the motion controls were for combat only. I wouldnt say it was the worst in the game, but it was definitely overkill doing the same thing 3 times. Adding the Groose bomb mechanics wasnt enough to make it more interesting. Kisai posted... Only real thing that got redundant with Fi was the I see a 90% probability thing that it kept spouting. But otherwise, Fi was fine. I think Im in the minority when I say that Midna was the companion piece that I disliked the most in the Zelda series. AceMos posted... girahim is a great villain I agree with most of your post except for this. I felt that he was just sorta there, and he is a very easy boss. First two times you fight him are pretty identical, and the last time that you fight him at the end of the game, I dont think he even attacked me once? I just attacked him until he fell off the ledge every time. He put up zero fight. But as for the rest of your post, I agree with it. The game has a very real feel (to me, at least) that the lore of the franchise is being built in those moments, and I got the feeling that Link is actually getting better and stronger as the game progresses. It starts awesome, but then they keep repeating areas and fights over and over again I beat it just now. I actually thought that the repeated areas were mostly done well. As it was previously stated, there would be areas that were clearly off limits on your first visits, and then when you had to go back, those off limits areas were now accessible, and they were significant chunks of the overall area. It was well done. Ill agree with others saying the sky world was lifeless. The place with the pumpkin juice and the Isle of Songs are honestly the only places of significance aside from Skyloft. Speaking of the Isle of Songs, it was completely unnecessary that you need to go back there after learning a new song to then fully learn the song. You could have just learned the song in the moment (like in Ocarina) instead of forcing the player to keep returning to the most out-of-the-way location in the entire game. --- Live action Hungry Hungry Hippos though, now that was a sport. ~Aeon Azuran |

It has its flaws flying around in Skyloft can take forever (reminiscent of sailing in Windwaker, although not as bad), some parts of the game could be a bit fetch-questy, and the game could stand to be a bit shorter. But overall, I liked the story, the gameplay, the weapons, and the dungeons. Solid game IMO. I played the game on Switch, so Id be curious if some of the criticism came from playing the game with Motion Control+ on Wii.
